Doctors approve improvement in President’s health, ready to return to White House. On the other hand, White House witnesses dramatic increase in cases.
President Trump plans to return from Walter Reed hospital to White House by later Monday or early Tuesday. He informed his followers on tweeters that he is in ‘really good’ health and is feeling better than ever.
In the tweet, Trump asked people to not be worried about covid-19 at all. He also said that under Trump’s administration, healthcare professionals have developed advanced knowledge and drugs.
President’s medical team has reported that his vital symptoms were stable. Neither Trump has reported any shortness of breath nor has he had fever since Friday.
On the other hand, the White House is in turmoil. The list of Trump’s inner circle infected with covid 19 is getting bigger with each day. White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnamy was tested positive for coronavirus earlier monday. On Sunday, McEnamy walked outdoors for a short press briefing and ended up taking questions from reporters standing about 10 feet away.
Internal sources to White House have reported that two deputies have also been tested positive. This was reported soon after McEnamy’s test reports were announced.
After a spur of cases in the White House officials and the President himself testing positive, prevention measures have been made more stringent than ever. All the officials are compulsorily required to wear masks in the West Wing. This was earlier optional through the beginning of pandemic.
White House still refuses to adhere to CDC guidelines
Despite continuously increasing cases of coronavirus in the White House, the office still is not adhering to Center for Disease Control’s guidelines. Despite coming in contact with Hope Hicks, press secretary Kayliegh McEnamy did not go for self-quarantine until the reports came. She even attended press briefing with reporters.
White House’s Chief of Staff Mark Meadows told Fox News that the president would return to White House by later Monday.
“This is an important day as the president continues to improve and its ready to get back to a normal work schedule.”
Even when he returns from Walter Reed hospital, president will still stay under a fully operating medical team at the White House residence, as informed by Alyssa Farah, communication director.
However, the danger still looms as the experts say that often worsening symptoms are witnessed in the second week of having the virus.
However, President Trump continued to portray that the virus couldn’t do anything to him. Even after being infected, he continued communication with the outside world through videos and tweets. So much to ensure his capacity, he even drove around the hospital with two of his Secret Service agents. White House later said that the president’s medical team approved of the act. However, it was completely contradictory to global guidelines for covid-19 patients.
As President Trump prepares to leave the hospital today- his campaign tells me he plans to participate in the next Presidential Debate on Oct 15th.

“It is the president’s intention to debate.”
Resentment in White House
In a report released by Wall Street Journal, it was found that a lot of White House staff is highly unhappy and angry with the way pandemic situation has been handled by officials, especially Chief of Staff, Mr. Meadows.
They are openly expressing resentment against the fact that they were kept in the dark while cases kept increasing in the White House.
President Trump on Friday was infused with an antiviral drug Remdesivir which was originally used to treat ebola. He is currently taking a cocktail named Regeneron monoclonal antibody, made of synthetic pharmaceutical substances. It should be noted that it is not FDA authorized. However, the president can access it under ‘compassionate use’ clause. President’s medical team began treating him with Dexamethasone on Sunday to ward off the dangers of slight drop in his oxygen levels.
He is additionally being treated by famotidine medicine which is FDA approved. It is not particularly used for covid 19 but for heartburn. Additionally he is also taking high doses of zinc and vitamin D.
