Netflix’s Lucifer won the hearts of fans no time. The crime drama is a fan favourite and has spanned 4 seasons. Season 5 is already confirmed and underway while there have already been talks of a season 6.
But far bigger news emerging now is that actor Tom Ellis might be working on a big surprise for us all with an appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Yes, you heard it right. Tom Ellis is set to make his Marvel debut.
How and When? Well, we might have an answer.
Lucifer The Fallen Angel
As per the lore, Lucifer was an angel Samael, created by God. His ability to create stars earned him his name Lucifer, the Morning Star, Latin for Light-bringer. Lucifer led a rebellion to usurp God and for this blasphemous act—he was cast to hell along with those who joined his rebellion. He ruled hell for a period of 10 billion years. And is now pronounced Satan.

The Netflix series chronicles a Lucifer who returns to earth abandoning hell for Los Angeles. He owns a nightclub and becomes a consultant to the LAPD. It is pretty clear that Satan is immortal. Which also gives him rapid regeneration and healing capacities. If there’s one power that precedes all, it is immortality and Lucifer is gifted with it. Being a celestial, superhuman strength, stamina and reflexes earn him the title of the ruler of hell. Telekinesis and strong will are among other evil traits.
Marvel Cinematic Universe touchdown for Lucifer
Who can resist Devil’s charm, he can make people spout out their true desire. So, when that doesn’t work he has his devil face to make you go dead in your track. Furthermore, now it seems that Marvel bosses are also hell-bent on bringing the character to one of the movies.
Tom Ellis after his unceremonious departure from Fox made it abundantly clear that he loves the show more than anything. The loyal fans and his indomitable will made the show picked on by Netflix. There is a very strong possibility that the character might debut on to the big screen. So, hold your breath as Tom Ellis aka Netflix’s Lucifer might take it away in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Until next time, Peace!
