Latest updates on the renewal status of ‘Castlevania’ Season 4
Netflix announced the good news about season 4 of ‘Castlevania’ with Issac’s Magic Mirror. The news wasn’t unexpected because the third season was not a closure in any sense. It was more like a middle chapter. But many were still in doubt since most Netflix series end after the third season. It was awesome to see Netflix break from its traditional three-season model. Watch the video in the tweet here:
The biggest reason for the renewal of the series was the audience. It is rare for a series to multiply its audience in the later seasons. The audience actually multiplied with every season of ‘Castlevania’.
The expected plotline of ‘Castlevania’ Season 4
The third season was crazy for the audience with many characters’ lives in turmoil. We can expect the same to happen in the fourth season. Given below are some plotline that season 4 may work with:
Alucard turning more monstrous
Loneliness took hold of Alucard after the death of his father Dracula. Alucard was shown growing close to new visitors Taka and Sumi. The pair betray Alucard. They were assuming that the Dhampir was hiding secrets by not teaching them magic. Alucard uses his magical sword on the pair before they could take any action and slits their throats. He impales the corpses of Taka and Sumi on spikes, just like his father did in the past.
Now, after the betrayal, he has grown distrustful to all strangers. He hates being lonely, but the betrayal by Taka and Sumi compels him to live an isolated life. Alucard has started to embrace more of his vampire nature, which is not good news for the people of Wallachia.
The Council of Sisters win Hector
Hector didn’t see it coming. He is captured by Carmilla and is taken to her stronghold in Styria, where the Council of Sisters resides. One of the sisters, Lenore, takes care of him, although she is helping him for nefarious reasons. She is helping to build an army for the Sisters to enact Carmilla’s plan of expanding their territory. Lenore tricks Hector into becoming her “pet” after seducing him. Hector unwillingly obeys, after being tricked into wearing a slave-ring.
Hector is now under the control of the Council of Sisters. He must plot to form a new army of night creatures. The sisters will start their aggressive expansion east towards Braila, once the army is ready. They will, of course, face the army of Isaac, not to mention Trevor Belmont and Sypha Belnades.
Dracula saved his second forge master Isaac just before his death. Isaac still sees it as his responsibility to fulfil Dracula’s wishes. He wants to ultimately kill Hector for his betrayal.
Isaac’s army of night creatures join in. The human settlements are destroyed if they don’t respect the army. Isaac discovers a mirror by the end of the season that can take him and his army directly to Styria. His huge army will face the Council of Sisters in his obsession to kill Hector.
Will Trevor and Sypha battle Alucard?
Trevor and Sypha were able to stop bringing Dracula back from Hell. They were able to stop the resurrection of the vampire. But the act practically destroyed all of Lindenfeld in the process.
Trevor and Sypha now suspect their trust in humanity. They now know that the judge was impaling the children on spikes, and he steals their shoes as trophies.
As a result, Trevor and Sypha leave Lindenfeld in the end. But Trevor and Sypha would likely return to Dracula’s castle to seek out Alucard. It would be interesting to see if Alucard, who has grown bitter, will welcome his old friends.
That’s all we can expect right now. But one thing we can surely predict is a great battle with Alucard on ‘Castlevania’ Season 4. Let us know your views on ‘Castlevania’ Season 4. Pen down your thoughts in the comments box below.
