The Agatha Harkness and Monica Rambeau encounter in ‘WandaVision’
Assuming you have already seen the latest episode of ‘WandaVision’ i.e. Episode 7, you must know that Wanda’s nosy neighbour Agnes is actually Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn). As revealed by herself with a musical montage of how she manipulated and controlled everything in what we thought was Wanda’s reality.
The same episode also transformed Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) into a superhero when she was trying to enter the Hex. We saw her transitioning through the barrier, and once she entered, she had blue eyes, and some powers that neither she exactly knows about nor we.
As she confronts furious Wanda and tries to convince her to stop her play and release Westview from her control, Agnes suspiciously interrupts Monica and asks her to leave. She then takes Wanda with her.
At this moment, the revelation of Agnes is due, and no one in the scene knows her truth. She then takes Wanda to her house, and what follows is the revelation in the basement of Agnes’ house, which looked like some other horror dimension.
Noting evidently suspicious happened between Monica Rambeau and Agatha Harkness in that encounter of ‘WandaVision’ episode 7. This is what we all thought, but then the post-credit scene changed everything.
What happened in the post-credit scene?
None of the episodes of ‘WandaVision’ had a post-credit scene till now, that’s why when a post-credit scene popped-up in episode 7, it got us suspicious about something more than what was visible on the screen.
Monica Rambeau takes Agatha Harkness’s side in the post-credit scene of ‘WandaVision’ episode 7.
In the post-credit scene, concerned Monica, unaware of Agnes’ truth, tries to inspect her house from outside. She finds a door to the basement, when she opens it, she notices some weird things happening. On the stairs leading to the basement, she sees wicked roots emitting purple evil magical glow like the ambience of Agatha’s basement.
Before she could understand more, fake Pietro stuns her from behind.
“Snoopers gonna Snoop” – says Pietro.
And the scene ends. Still wondering what you missed?
Monica to be Agatha’s puppet in upcoming episodes?
If you paid close attention to Monica’s eyes when she turned into a superhero, they were blue. When Wanda tried to smash Monica onto the ground with her powers and failed because Monica’s powers were reacting, we can spot her eyes turning blue at that moment, again.
All of it clearly shows that Monica’s superhero eyes are blue. But…
If you pay attention to her eyes when she turns towards the fake Pietro in the end, you’ll clearly see that her eyes were purple. This purple resembles Agatha’s magic and was the same as the one glowing in the evil roots Monica was staring at a moment ago.
It’s a tiny detail. But look for it closely, and you’ll see what we are trying to show you.
Monica Rambeau having not blue but purple eyes at the end of ‘WandaVision’ episode 7 reveals that she’s now under the influence of Agatha’s witchy powers. This could mean that in the coming episodes Agatha might use Monica against Wanda, Vision, or SWORD.
What do you think? Do Monica Rambeau’s purple eyes mean she’s now in Agatha’s control in ‘WandaVision’? Or do you think it means something else? Tell us in the comments below.
