Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to no longer be a part of the Royal family, there has been n number of rumours about them all over the internet. Some news portals have even fabricated many stories, which, on the surface, clearly led fans to believe that it was all a hoax. And now, from what Simon Rex has revealed, it looks like many tabloids are even paying money to be able to sell fake stories revolving around Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

British Tabloids asked Simon Rex to lie about Meghan Markle
Simon Rex, who formerly worked with Meghan Markle, has disclosed that he once got offered $70,000 to pretend that he had a sexual relationship with her. In a recent interview, Simon Rex, who co-starred with Meghan in the sitcom ‘Cuts’, confirmed this.
Meghan and Simon had only starred together once before, in a 2005 episode of Cuts. Meghan was already well-known at the time, whereas Simon was struggling. Simon recently discussed his financial difficulties at the time. He also talked about how various newspapers approached him, offering huge sums of money if he would say he had slept with Meghan.
In a conversation with “Guardian”, Simon revealed, “I was broke as f***! I really needed the money. But I will be on food stamps before I do that”. He went on to say that their off-screen encounters were limited to one platonic lunch. Additionally, when Meghan found out about Simon’s refusal of the offer, she sent him a thank you note. Meghan said in the note, “It is nice to know there are still good people”.
According to Simon, the letter is still framed at the actor’s home. He later confirmed the story on Twitter as well.

Even in the past, Meghan has had numerous disagreements with the tabloid press. Meghan got a printed apology from the publishers of a British tabloid in December 2021. The UK tabloid The Mail on Sunday was compelled by the London High Court to issue a front-page apology for invading Meghan’s privacy.

Duchess Kate, unlike her husband, is always careful to keep her feelings about the royal couple private. Despite the much-publicized dispute between her and Meghan.
According to a source close to Prince William, who spoke to The Sunday Times Magazine, he is forthright about what’s on his mind, including family issues. The couple is totally honest with their closest contacts.
Duchess Kate, on the other hand, keeps her emotions to herself. “She is 150 per cent more restrained than him”, one insider claims. The only time Kate had gone close to showing her feelings on the subject was when she rolled her eyes when there was a mention of the popular American TV ‘Suits’, where Meghan Markle was seen playing the character of Rachel.

Kate and Meghan, according to early rumours, had a falling out. Insiders later claimed that Prince William and Prince Harry were to blame for the problems.
Meghan and Kate, according to authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand of Finding Freedom, were not close enough with each other and had very little in common. They also claimed that before the Sussexes married in May 2018, the ladies didn’t even spend much time together.
They claimed Meghan would agree with the assessment that the Duchesses were not best friends. Their relationship had not progressed much since she was the Duke of Sussex’s girlfriend. However, they were not at odds with one another.
