Matrix 4 starring Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss will commence its production by early July and the release date will see no delay.
Things have not been going well for the Film Industry. And saying that is only an understatement. Not only have the productions come to a complete halt all over the world, millions of people have lost their jobs and there has been little indication of when we could be heading back to production until now.
But if we are to believe the rumours, Matrix 4 starring Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss could be heading back into production as early as July of this year.
- The Matrix 4 has Green Light For July.

- Matrix: The Crown Level Of Trilogies.
The filming for the fourth part of the Matrix Instalment had already began in February and the cameras were rolling till Mid-March when the wave of Corona Virus hit the world and brought it to a halt.
The Matrix 4 has Green Light For July
The decision to start rolling the cameras as soon as early July is certainly questionable but there is a reason behind the decision. The news came as the cast has signed up for a six week extension holding the actors with them till July 6.
Since the confirmation of the fourth instalment in August 2019 fans have been going wild with the anticipation surrounding the cult-classic. The Lana Wachowski film which she is both writing and direct will see Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss reprise their iconic roles of Neo and Trinity. Shooting for Matrix 4 is supposed to commence in Berlin, Germany.
Who Is In Matrix 4?
We, of course have Keanu Reeves reprising his iconic character Neo which gave the actor a cult-following and Carrie-Ann Moss as Trinity but there are a number of other interesting actors joining the cast of the movie alongside them.
Matrix 4 stars Jada Pinkett Smith as Niobe and familiar faces like Priyanka Chopra, Jessica Henwick, Neil Patrick Harris, Andrew Caldwell and Jonathan Groff will also be seen in the film.
Jessica Henwick is supposedly the one character which will give the film a much needed twist if it demands to make a comeback that leaves the audience in complete awe and only wanting more. Henwick is apparently going to be playing a female Neo-like character and that will be one feat to watch alongside Keanu Reeves playing his own Neo version.
Matrix: The Crown Jewel of Trilogies
The release of Matrix’s first instalment in 1999 was an unexpected power of force and success and ended up sweeping four Academy Awards. It’s sequel Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions were less well received but were still huge box office successes.
The trilogy went on to bring in a whopping 1.6 Billion Dollar revenue and just as Matrix 4 the trilogy was also written and directed by Lana Wachowski which should be the confidence we need to have in this sequel.
Here’s hoping that the sequel lives up to the unreal expectation we obviously have of the film, director, actors and we get to welcome back Neo with a smile and nothing else. And that is nothing but the truth.
But like Neo likes to say “What Truth?”
