Can Marvel convincingly conclude ‘WandaVision’ in the finale episode 9?
‘WandaVision’ has explored further deeper horizons of Wanda’s story and Marvel comics than what fans expected from it. It has raised many questions, resolved many previously continuity errors of MCU, and has opened the doors for magic, multiverse, and a lot more in MCU.
Episode 7 of Disney+ ‘WandaVision’ introduced Agatha Harkness, and also the origins of Monica Rambeau’s superhero powers. The latest episode 8 took Wanda back to memory lane. It revealed how she used the Chaos Magic to create the Wanda anomaly.
In the final moments of the episode, Wanda was finally officially introduced as Scarlet Witch in MCU. A lot has happened in ‘WandaVision’, and a lot is yet to happen, thus it’s obvious everyone’s wondering if Marvel can pull off a perfect finale episode.
Which characters are expected to appear in ‘WandaVision’ episode 9?
Marvel’s ‘WandaVision’ is now set to deal with various different characters coming head to head in the finale episode.
Wanda & Vision are to be at the center of the episode and the show’s conclusion. Agatha Harkness has hyped up the expectations of the fans and fans are in love with every frame she appears in. Thus, fans would love to see her more.
Monica Rambeau has only had 2 scenes after she gained her superpowers; her major presence is inevitable and also vital for her character’s future in MCU.
The post-credit scene teased White Vision, and now Marvel will need to deal with establishing him and making a deal out of his presence in a short period. As per almost every report, Dr. Strange is also set to make a cameo in ‘WandaVision’, while fans are desperate for his cameo. It seems a bit choked up a situation to have another appearance.
Besides that, there are speculations of Mephisto, Magneto, or another such major Marvel comic character hopping into the finale. Even if one of these characters makes an appearance, it would require Marvel to establish them and make an impact out of their presence.

Amid all that, the SWORD conflict, the Fake Pietro, the twins, and a lot more awaits their turn in the finale.
What might happen in episode 9 of ‘WandaVision’?
While there is no doubt that episode 8 of ‘WandaVision’ was one of the best episodes of the season, it ate a chunk of the show’s runtime while explaining the creation of the Hex. Now Marvel is left with only the finale episode to deal with all the current-timeline issues of ‘WandaVision’.
So many characters, so many important conflicts to be resolved, will Marvel be able to convincingly conclude the finale episode of ‘WandaVision’?
We are yet to understand if Agatha Harkness is the true villain of ‘WandaVision’ or if she’ll turn into Wanda’s mentor. Agatha’s conflict would require a center stage in the story. We can expect a fight between Agatha and Wanda.
However, the introduction of White Vision has brought in another contender for the actual villain in the story of ‘WandaVision’. We can expect a battle between White Vision and Wanda’s created Vision.
SWORD and Director Hayward will also be marching into the Hex. It’s probably Monica Rambeau who’ll be going head to head with them.
With all these battles and their outcomes bringing a conclusion to ‘WandaVision’s’ conflicts, Marvel is yet to bring in Dr. Strange and ignite the future of the multiverse. Also, questions like what will happen to Wanda’s Vision when her anomaly ends. What will happen to the twins, and all of it remains to be answered in one episode.
Which kind of makes it impossible for Marvel to convincingly conclude ‘WandaVision’ with a single finale episode. Unless the finale episode is of two hours.
What will be the run time of ‘WandaVision’ finale episode 9?
‘WandaVision’s episode 1 premiered on Disney+ on January 15, 2021. The 9-episode long show, with each episode premiering weekly on every Friday, was initially meant to be 6 hours long in total.
However, with the first 4 episodes having an appx runtime of 30 minutes, and the later 4 episodes ranging from 35 minutes to 43 minutes, the show has only clocked in about four and a half hours, including the credits.
Now keeping the six-hour runtime in mind, Marvel should be going with at least one-and-a-half-hour finale episode.
However, as per the reports, the finale is going to be only about 50 minutes long, with about 6-7 minutes of credits. This again explains why fans are worried about the way Marvel is going to handle the ‘WandaVision’ finale episode.
