With such erratic date of releases, it is very difficult to speculate Lucifer Season 5 release date. But least to say, Lucifer Season 5 will release in 2020.
The entire season will have a total of 16 episodes with the first half combining a total of eight episodes.
Lucifer Season 4 finale
Lucifer season 4 was all about coming to terms with Lucifer’s devilish side. Lucifer had earlier told Chloe that despite being close to Eve, his first love was and shall always remain Chloe.
Chloe finds it extremely hard to cope with Lucifer’s demonic side causing her to fall out of love with Lucifer. This, in turn, paves way for Eve’s introduction, someone who already accepts Lucifer for who he is and in many ways similar to her.

Eve had left heaven because she found it boring and monotonous, much the same way when Lucifer abandoned hell when he moved into Los Angeles.
Lucifer Season 5 Possible Theories
Obviously, Lucifer is not quite literally the devil, and Hell certainly does not belong to him. But who will make Lucifer realize his true worth and his true place?

For that, we will have to go back to Season 1, where Lucifer was killed and entered Hell. Although it was temporary, he had then made a deal with his father, God. An exact situation is not possible this time as Lucifer needs a replacement to rule Hell in his place.
But this leads us to believe somebody new will step into his shoe and make this sacrifice for him, will it be Eve? Who knows!
