The first divorce in the Bachelor Nation history is about to happen and viewers are heartbroken but not shocked.
Krystal Nielson and Chris Randone are one of the couples on Bachelor Nation, who managed to fall in love and decide to tie the knot. This was pretty commendable because Bachelor Nation couples generally fall apart before marriage incubates.

Krystal and Chris met on Bachelor in Paradise season 5. Their wedding was a pompous affair that aired on the same show in season 6. Let’s find out why the Bachelor Nation couple Krystal and Chris is heading for a divorce.
Why is the divorce news isn’t shocking?
Anyone who hasn’t watched any of the shows on the Bachelor Nation would say it is no big deal. Regular viewers also know that Bachelor Nation doesn’t have a good record in holding relationships intact.
The couples on the show generally start feeling that they are not meant for each other and decide to break up before marriage can even be put on the table. Chris and Krystal, however, took a long time to decide that they are not meant to be. In a short while after marrying in the summer of 2019, they informed the world that they are splitting.
Krystal and Chris breaking wedlock on good terms
Krystal wrote on Instagram about their emotional move and how they have given a fair chance to each other even after separation.
“The past 8 months have not been easy…I’ve been torn between mourning a life that could’ve been…and determined to fight for the future that I know I deserve. With respect and support for one another, Chris and I have decided to move forward with filing for divorce. We are grateful for the events that brought us to find one another, as we have been great teachers in our journey of personal discovery and growth. I believe that there can be beauty inside of pain when we have the courage to look within with compassion and a willingness to grow. We all deserve to live a beautiful life we love…and sometimes we realize it’s time to let go and LET GOD. Thank you for the well wishes and continued support. It means the world.”
Krystal emotional piece on Instagram ensures that the couple respect each other. They are parting only because the romantic chemistry was missing after marriage. But they continue to remain friends.
In February, the couple announced that they were going to split because “we both need to work on ourselves.” At the time, they said that they had become best friends, and still had a lot of love and care for each other, despite their romance not working out as they’d hoped it would.
We can sense that the couple is still tight as friends. They (Krystal and Chris) are handling the divorce with maturity.
Recent updates on the Bachelor Nation franchise
Though Bachelor Nation doesn’t have too many examples to celebrate, but Chris and Krystal weren’t the only BIP couple to make it down the aisle. There are a few Bachelor and Bachelorette couples who’ve married and still holding each other tight.
The most famous married couple in Bachelor Nation is Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter, who met on the first season of the Bachelorette. They decided to take their relationship to another level and married in December 2003 and are still together. There are a few others who got hitched after dating on one of the shows of the Bachelor Nation franchise.
So, it is not wholly gloomy for the franchise.
Now for the news we’ve been waiting for months to hear: The premiere date for Clare Crawley’s season of Bachelorette has finally been announced.
The show’s official social media pages revealed, alongside Clare’s first official portrait, that Season 16 begins Tuesday, October 13, at 8 pm on ABC.
We all hope that the Bachelor couple Krystal and Chris remain friends even after this divorce. Next month, Bachelor Nation will again look for true love on season 16 of Bachelorette. Stay tuned to Dkoding for all updates on Bachelor Nation. Share your thoughts in the comments box below.
