Though we know that rumours are just rumours, but they often land near to the right spot. And here is another hot served gossip coming from the tents of Marvel, where our adult superhero is practising to make his – break the fourth wall – entry in the MCU.
Yes, Deadpool will be joining MCU with Deadpool 3, but that’s not what we are here to tell you. We are going to tell you something that might just snap your mind out of existence, note this, Thanos will be back in MCU, and this time, Thanos will be the villain in Deadpool 3.
Thanos to come back as a Villain in Deadpool 3?
Yes, we know that the storyline of Thanos was wrapped with him turning down to dust at the end of “Avengers Endgame”. But that wasn’t the first time Mad Titan got killed. Thanos was beheaded by Thor in the very beginning of Endgame, or to accurately say just after the events of Infinity War, but he returned from the dead.
Half the superhero characters in MCU were turned to dust in Infinity War, and they still got back. MCU has established this phenomenon, and now they will be using it in the future, and the most probable use that we can see is to bring back Thanos, that too as a Villain in Deadpool 3.
How can Thanos be back as a Villain in Deadpool 3?
Thanos carries Deviant Gene; he’s a Titanian Eternal. Thanos is a member of the group of Supreme Celestial beings; he’s closely connected to the Humanoids. These all are the reasons why Thanos’s “I am Inevitable” chant stand quite true to him. Thanos can be back, as he’s not one of those who can be killed. Yes, Thanos is an immortal being.
So, whatever happened to him in Endgame was merely a temporary departure for the Titan.
Also, Thanos is a Titanian Eternal, the race known to be fighting against the Eternals since the Earth came into existence. With Marvel bringing Eternals in MCU, there stays no doubt that Thanos can be back in MCU. However, as MCU will now be dealing with alternate timelines, it is difficult to say if Thanos will be back as a Villain in Deadpool 3 in the actual timeline or some other timeline.
However, Marvel might face one problem in bringing back Thanos as a Villain in Deadpool 3. The actor who played Thanos, Josh Brolin, also played Cable in Deadpool 2, and Josh Brolin is confirmed to return as Cable in Deadpool 3.
It will be interesting to see how Marvel will manage to bring Josh Brolin as Thanos and Cable at the same time in Deadpool 3.
What is the connection between Thanos and Deadpool?
You’ll be surprised to know that it’s a love triangle. Yes, Thanos loves Death. Death is a lady in comics, and she is responsible for Thanos’s immortality, as she banished him from the realm of Death. Now, when Deadpool died in comics for a short while, as he did in Deadpool 2, he met Death. Death builds feelings for Deadpool, and this makes Thanos extremely jealous and rageful. We saw similar happenings in Deadpool 2.
When Deadpool died for a short while, he had a conversation with his dead girlfriend resembling Death. Though there was no mention of Thanos’s love interest in MCU, there could be now with Deadpool’s entry. Thus, with this sort of connection between Thanos and Deadpool, we can expect Thanos to come back as a villain in Deadpool 3.
It will be super interesting to watch Mad Titan and Deadpool fighting over their mutual love interest. So romantic!
