Jason Momoa of ‘Game of Thrones’, and actress Lisa Bonet, 54, were a dreamy couple. Their admirers were taken aback when they announced their breakup. The duo was together for about 16 years – they were married in 2017 after dating for over ten years. Jason and Lisa’s love journey was nothing less than a fairy tale. It was love at first sight for Jason, who first saw her on the television show The Cosby Show as a child and was instantly smitten.
But then, if everything was this perfect, what went wrong between the two? According to an “E! News” source, the reason for the unexpected breakup was “different priorities”.
The insider explained that Jason is very focused on his job and wants to work. He’s discovered success, and it’s both motivating and rewarding. Lisa, on the other hand, wants to be in Los Angeles. She does not want to be on-site with him for extended periods. The ‘Aquaman’ star was moving on a different path, and it did not fit together with her lifestyle. The source added that they became estranged and desired different things.
In a joint statement, the former couple announced the news on Momoa’s social media sites on January 13.

Jason Momoa first saw Lisa Bonet on The Cosby Show, where she was making her television acting debut. He was only eight at the time. But he was smitten by the actress. On The Late Late Show in 2017, Jason stated that he told his mother that Lisa is the one he wants. He promised himself that he would follow her around for the rest of his life.
2004 is when the two met for the first time in a Jazz Club
One night in New York, a mutual friend of Jason’s and Lisa’s introduced them at a jazz bar. Jason was so overjoyed that he even matched Lisa’s hairstyle. They have been inseparable since then.
In an interview with “Porter magazine” Lisa revealed that the couple had been dating since they met. Jason had to have been in his late twenties when he asked her out for the first time.
They had their first child in 2007
On July 21, 2007, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Lola. Lisa already had a daughter, Zo Kravitz, who is now an actress.
