Marvel and Sony have not given any confirmation on either the character’s look or his presence in the movie. The report by THR states: “Jamie Foxx, who played classic Spidey villain Electro in the Andrew Garfield-starring The Amazing Spider-Man 2, is in final talks to reprise the role for the latest Spider-Man installment, starring Tom Holland and being made by Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures.”
However, in the latest Instagram post (now deleted), Jamie Fox has confirmed his return in the world of Spiderman. The post could have been just a prank, but the actor deleting the post confirms Marvel and Disney’s superiors’ involvement in it.

Jamie Foxx in a recent Instagram post, not only confirmed his return as Electro in MCU’s Tom Holland starring untitled Spiderman movie. But he also confirmed that his look won’t be blue.
The actor posted a snap of news, and revealed the fact about his look by writing “And I won’t be blue in this one”. This freaked out the fans for good.
He wrote: “Tell Spidey let’s run it back!… super excited to be part of the new Marvel Spider-Man new installment… can’t wait for you all to check the new one. And I won’t be blue in this one!! But a thousand percent bad*ss!!!”
