The Netflix original series debuted on the streaming platform in September of 2017 and the latest season came out in March this year. The show is based on the lives of two siblings Alex and Hayley Woods who lost their mother, an astronaut, in a rocket disaster, and are enrolled in a boarding school for gifted kids. At the school, they uncover a hideous plot devised by unknown perpetrators to monetize earthquakes. The two must work together if they are to stop and expose the criminal’s plans. Here’s everything we know about season 5 of Greenhouse Academy.
What can we expect to see in season 5?
In an interview with a leading Hollywood magazine, show-runner Giora Chamizer said, “All I can say is that I have tons of stories ready for two more seasons, and I would be thrilled to write them. The ball is totally in Netflix’s corner. As far as I’m concerned, we would be shooting more seasons the day this epidemic is over.” This could mean that there may be more seasons to come for Greenhouse Academy. In the fifth season, fans expect to see more of the newly formed couples in the show — Brooke and Alex, Hayley and Leo, and Sophie and Parker. Fans can expect to see the blossoming of the young couple’s relationship or perhaps a big fallout. Keep up with us to know all future updates!

What has been the story so far?
In the beginning of the show, we saw siblings Alex and Hayley Woods along with their father Carter Woods saying farewell to their mother, a famous astronaut who would have become the first female astronaut to orbit the moon. Alas, she dies in a horrific rocket explosion, which was televised for all to see. The siblings join the pirate boarding school from which the show derives its name, the Greenhouse Academy. Shortly after joining, the siblings are sorted into two different houses in the school and develop a rivalry between them. The two along with their friends uncover a secret plot being devised in the school’s administrative circles, which also implicates the school principal and his own son. They find out that some secret agents are planning a device to use the power of earthquakes for their nefarious deeds and make money out of it. In future episodes, we will see the duo take on the perpetrators and expose their evil schemes.
When will season 5 come out?
Due to the current coronavirus lockdowns, filming has halted all over and the production is in a slump. Unfortunately for Greenhouse Academy fans, the fifth season most likely will not release this year. Netflix has not yet given an exact date for the fifth season’s release as of yet. Fans speculate that it will come out no sooner than 2021.
What will be the cast of season 5?
There are no major changes scheduled for the cast of the show in the fifth season, which is a good thing as fans have developed a liking for the characters that are portrayed as they are by the current actors. Some of the returning names to the show are Ariel Mortman (as Hayley Woods), Finn Roberts (Alex Woods), Chris O’Neal (as Daniel Hayward), Dallas Hart (Leo Cruz), Cinthya Carmona (Sophie Cardona), Danika Yarosh (Brooke Osmond), Benjamin Papac (Max Miller), Jessica Amlee (Jackie Sanders), BJ Mitchell (as Parker Grant) and many more.
