Gossip Girl Reboot release date
The new subscription-based digital platform HBO Max will go live in May 2020 and as a part of its early releases, Gossip Girl Reboot will be held as its trump card.
Therefore, Gossip Girl Reboot is set to release on HBO Max after May 2020.
Star Cast of Gossip Girl Reboot
Amidst all the speculation, Kristen Bell, the original series’ narrator, is confirmed to return and reprise her role in the Gossip Girl Reboot. Rising star Emily Alyn Lind of the Doctor Sleep fame will much be a part of the series’ reboot as the lead actress.

Others joining her lead are Eli Brown (from The Perfectionists) and Whitney Peak (who plays Judith on Netflix’s The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.) Jason Gotay (Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark) and Johnathan Fernandez from Togetherish will also star on Gossip Girl reboot.
Meanwhile, Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage will be reuniting as the show’s producer.

Barring Kristen Bell, no other cast member from the original series is set to return in the Gossip Girl Reboot. Hence, the Gossip Girls Reboot will relatively feature newcomers.
The original series which aired on The CW between September 2007 and December 2012 starred Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, and Penn Badgley. The show stretched across six seasons spanning a total number of 121 episodes. Penn Badgley was last seen playing the protagonist for Netflix’s murder-mystery thriller series You.

The reboot will bring to fore a bunch of new generation of New York private school teens. The Gossip Girl Reboot will touch upon the changing landscape of New York and the indispensable intervention of social media.

The new series has received a 10-episode order which will begin eight years after the original Gossip Girl ended.
