Everything about The Masked Singer season 4
The fourth season is on its way much sooner than you would imagine. The American reality singing competition boasts nine million viewers weekly. Fox is tight-lipped about any information on season 4 of The Masked Singer but diehard fans already know what’s going to happen.
Entertainment Weekly posted that the fourth season of The Masked Singer will premiere this fall. So, book your Wednesday time slots from 8 to 9pm. If all goes right, the show will air its first episode on September 23, 2020. This is because fall TV shows usually start airing from late September.
In case the shutdown continues till August, then the premiere might be postponed to January 2021. Before going into the news on the new set of judges, let’s get introduced to the old ones.
Who are the judges?
Ken Jeong: Ken Jeong made his mark in Hollywood with pretty big films. He worked as a full- time physician when he started his stand-up career and was noticed in The Office and Curb Your Enthusiasm. After doing Knocked Up, he decided to take up acting full time, though he still holds his medical license.
Jenny McCarthy: Everyone knows her as the former Playboy bunny. She won the title Playmate of the Year in 1993. Then she went on to host the dating show Singled Out. After that people saw her in The Jenny. Thereafter, NBC gave Jenny her sit-com. Besides that, she is a New York Times best-selling author and has 8 books in her kitty. We can currently see her hosting Sirius XM.
Robin Thicke: Robin appeared as a child actor in Growing Pains and The New Lassie. Growing up, he decided to pursue music and signed his first contract at 16. His biggest hit is Blurred Lines from back in 2013.
Nicole Scherzinger: Nicole is mainly known for being the lead singer in The Pussycat Dolls. Their 2005 album went multi-platinum. She pursued a solo-singing career and then people saw her on the tenth season of Dancing with the Stars. Her talent attracted her a theatre career in 2015.
She acted in the West End revival of Cats. She is no stranger to judging reality TV shows. We have seen her judging The X Factor, both the US and the UK versions.
Truth or myth? Fox bringing a new set of judges
Just because Fox is tight-lipped over the upcoming season and wants to make it even bigger this time, rumours have started floating on the social media that it is getting a new set of judges for The Masked Singer season 4.
The plans are to get some famous singers on the panel. Well, Nick Jonas has left The Voice. Do you want him on The Masked Singer season 4?
The rumours have surfaced only because Fox hasn’t officially confirmed that The Masked Singer judges Nicole Scherzinger, Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong, and Jenny McCarthy will be coming back for season 4.
Kandi Burruss won in season 3. Even though the Night Angel is still basking the glory of her success, fans are already thinking about what’s to come next in season 4.
Even though Fox hasn’t spoken about season 4, we could expect the same set of judges. Social media will keep speculating unless there is some official announcement. It is, otherwise, hard to imagine The Masked Singer Season 4 without these judges and host Nick Cannon.
