Fans loved ‘El Camino’ and want more!
If it weren’t for Vince Gilligan‘s brilliant skills, we wouldn’t have experienced the crazy crime-thriller drama. It not only has been a ‘one of a kind’ show but also has a sequel and prequel that have kept fans engaged throughout.
While fans loved how the ‘Breaking Bad’ series ended, they were not pleased with the show ending altogether. “Breaking Bad was a phenomenal show. Everything from the writing of the characters to the progression in the story was just superb, a true masterpiece of a show with one of those rare endings in which you wouldn’t change a thing but I also wish there was more”, tweeted a fan.
Upon hearing of the movie’s release, fans were beyond ecstatic to know what was in store for them. The movie lived up to their expectation and made its mark, winning the Best Movie Made for Television at the Critics’ Choice Television Awards and Motion Made For Television at the Satellite Awards.
No one was left disappointed with the way the movie ended as a fan’s tweet said, “I watched ‘El Camino’ finally, and I gotta say that was the closure I was looking for in ‘Breaking Bad’s’ ending. It tied up things quite beautifully and I really don’t think I could have asked for much more from it. Seeing Jesse Pinkman finally be able to smile was amazing”.
Another fan tweeted praising Gilligan for his work saying, “’El Camino’ is the sequel to ‘Breaking Bad’ that I never knew I needed. Vince Gilligan is a mastermind”.
The ‘Breaking Bad’ sequel starring Aaron Paul as Jesse Pinkman we need
There is no doubt that highlighting Aaron Paul’s character was work well done. Consequently, fans were pleased to see how things ended for him and are glad Gilligan made the movie happen for them.

But, to take things up a notch, well-wishers of the show want the showrunner to consider creating a sequel series based on Jesse Pinkman‘s life. But didn’t the movie already do that for the audience?
What would the sequel be about?
While ‘El Camino’ did capture pretty much everything that Jesse Pinkman fans would’ve loved to see, there is still so much room for creativity for the showrunners to work on. It would be interesting to see what happens after he decides to make a new identity for himself. Perhaps, this is what the new sequel could look like: a continuation from where the movie ended.
Meanwhile, questions about some characters from the parent show still remain unanswered. So, with Walter White out of the deal, it is possible that fans might finally get to see the end of all the main characters of the show.
‘Breaking Bad’ sequel release date
While there has been no official statement yet, online reports claim that the sequel could release in late 2021 or early 2022. Currently, all productions in the US and around the world have been temporarily stopped. Consequently, it is uncertain when the actors will get together to begin filming.
However, just like ‘El Camino’ was kept a secret for a long time, it is possible that the sequel could be a secret too. So, all hope is definitely not lost.
