It’s only been one year to Avengers: Endgame and two for Infinity War and it already feels like a decade. The coronavirus lockdown has changed everything around us but our love for the Avengers.

Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely kick-started the watch party on Sunday taking over ComicBook’s twitter page. On Monday for the first hour of Endgame, director duo Joe and Anthony Russo along with RDJ joined the writers.
Over the live session, the makers of the Infinity War reveal many BTS moments commented on various characters and shared anecdotes with the fans worldwide. Here’s a glimpse,
The Mad Titan’s Failure
The movie starts with Thanos saying, “I ignored my destiny once.” The writers explained that he is referring to his failure to save his home planet Titan. Marvel Studio’s official artists have revealed the concept art of young Thanos. But the back story was cut on the editing floor.

The Iron Strange
The writer’s revealed an alternate version of Doctor Strange’s rescue scene from Ebony Maw. While onboard Tony sends his nano-suit to Strange, which would have resulted in an Iron-suited Doctor Strange. The unfinished scene shows the Eye of Agamotto at the centre of his chest piece and not Arc Reactor.
A Nod to the Cap Vs Thanos Theory
Thanos is one anti-hero that openly accepts his failures and admires his opponent’s strengths too. That’s what makes him so dangerous and complex as a character.
Fans had long theorised that Thanos was actually surprised and impressed with Steve Roger’s ability to stop his punch mid-way. Though his following punch felt a lot meaner! The theory finally got a nod from Marcus and McFeely.
Smart Hulk in Wakanda
Originally, the smart Hulk was set to appear in Infinity War. But the writers felt that resolving Hulk and Banner’s conflict at the end of the movie didn’t feel right and the scene ended up on the editing floor.
Doctor Strange Vs Iron Man
Fans for long have drawn a parallel between Doctor Strange and Iron Man. Their chemistry was everything to set the tone of the movie. Turns out even writers had a same fun creating it. “…The sheer ego war of it. First, we tried to mine their differences, but it was when we realized it was a “Frazier and Niles” situation, where one was a magnified version of the other, that it began to be fun,” Markus and McFeely said.
