As Marvel Comic’s TV series’ Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D season 7 concluding soon, predictions about season 8 have already begun. Before the premiere of the current season, ABC network and Marvel announced that season 7 will be the last and final season of the show. But after the seven years of the journey, the central cast is unwilling to let Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D go.

Chloe Bennet wants to continue playing Daisy
As Daisy Johnson, a star of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Chloe Bennet has had quite a journey since she started at the age of 20.
She was going by Skye when we first met her in 2013, an anti-social hacker, living out of her van. Seven years later, Daisy is S.H.I.E.L.D.’s resident powerhouse, a much-adored member of an ever-growing team, and a true superhero.
Speaking with Looper, Bennet revealed that the network has not yet approached her with a new season’s contract. If it were to happen, she said, “I definitely would [return]. I have such a soft spot for her. It hasn’t hit me yet that the show is over. I would definitely be open to playing Daisy again. I have not been asked to yet, so…”

Speaking about the show’s end with Deadline, Producer Joseph Loeb said, “How many shows do you know that suddenly end, and leaves you with a cliffhanger? We thought we were turning out the lights and going home when ABC contacted us asking, since the material is so strong, do you think you can have another 13? So, we all came to the conclusion to tie up any loose threads and build a season that will satisfy the fans, the cast, Marvel, and ABC alike.”
Will there be a season 8?
Millions of Marvel fans have been wondering if Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D will return. So when Loeb was asked the same question, he told Deadline, “Is there anything really over nowadays? I believe that every great Marvel story ends to be continued.”
Chloe Bennet might have her own show
Once the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D team approached ABC for a spin-off called Marvel’s Most Wanted. Even a pilot starring Agents Lance Hunter and Bobbi Morse was filmed. But unfortunately, the network scrapped the series.
Therefore, if ABC commissions a spin-off, the most obvious choice is Daisy ‘Quake’ Johnson. She is not just a fan-favourite, Chloe Bennet’s character has evolved the most over the seven years. So, when Bennet was asked about a possible spin-off, she said, “I wish that were true, but they aren’t…at least as of now.
