There’s nothing more famous than the dinner table scene of the series and recently, long time ‘Blue Bloods’ actor Donnie Wahlberg revealed that there’s something the fans don’t know about the famous scenes. Along with dinner table secret, ‘Blue Bloods’ Season 11 is happening, but with a twist, according to Wahlberg.

‘Blue Bloods’ is a workplace drama but fans love the show for the family dynamics at play. Dinner table scenes are hugely popular. ‘Blue Bloods’ actor Donnie Wahlberg revealed a secret about these scenes. And he is disappointed with journalists for not asking the right questions.
He spilt the dinner table secret and expressed disappointment saying, “One thing that people don’t know about the show. We do a lot of interviews about the dinner scene and we’re always asked the sillier questions like, ‘Who eats the most’ and a lot of the sort of obvious questions that you get asked”.

He further added, “But one thing that people don’t know is the dinner scene is an awesome time to catch up for us as before we all go about our separate jobs. When the dinner scene shows up, it is a treat for us to all check-in, not only on our character’s lives but on our personal lives”.
Donnie Wahlberg announces season 11
Soon after season 10 ended, Wahlberg sat all night for an interactive session on Twitter. There he spotted one person asking if the show was renewed for season 11. And guess what his response was. An obvious “Yes” was all Wahlberg wrote in the reply.
Wahlberg’s tweet brought relief to the fans of ‘Blue Bloods’ who watched the emotional finale. In the final episode, Reagans welcomed a new family member after discovering that the late Joe Reagan had an unknown son, Joe Hill.
Wahlberg and Selleck have previously expressed hope that the show will keep going for as long as CBS wants it.
Donnie told “Pop Culture Times” about ‘Blue Bloods’ Season 11. He said, “I just know that we’re having more fun than we’ve ever had on the show”. “It’s still the number one show on Friday night for 10 years. And it’s been a great run and I don’t see it stopping anytime soon”.

Donnie assures ‘Blue Bloods’ Season 11 will tread with care
Donnie frankly answered “TV Insider” about how Black Lives Matter protests can impact ‘Blue Bloods’. He said that when any topical stuff comes up, the ‘Blue Bloods’ family always hold diverse views. He assured the fans of the long-running series on CBS that given the current situation, the show will tread its storyline with care.
They will be more mindful and do a better job than they are already doing, according to Donnie. He added that everybody in this country has to take a closer look at themselves and, of course, ‘Blue Bloods’ will do that as well. Donnie finds it a good opportunity to engage in what’s going on, and be a part of the discussion.
“TV Insider” inquired about the possible dinner table conversations around the current affairs. Donnie nodded in assertion saying that a lot of episodes addressed the ongoing issues and what’s coming to the surface now.
He admitted that at times, they have done a great job of it, at other times, an OK job, but not their best. The actor is seeing this as an opportunity to create a new image of the procedural drama.
