Why Did Fans Fall In Love With The Show?
The 2012 American sitcom, which was created by Dan Berendsen, follows twenty-something Ben who is basically like any other man in his 20s, gets the surprise of his life when a one night stand leaves his baby at his door. However, as unexpected as this might have been for him, he decides to raise his little girl with the help of his brother, Danny, his two close friends, Riley and Tucker, and his sometimes-overbearing mother, Bonnie.
While some parts of the audience did not quite enjoy the show, there were fans who were very obsessed with the characters and storyline. “I’m sad it’s over. The ending did feel a bit rushed, which was unfortunate. The show was one of my guilty pleasures; it’s been fun watching it. Why Did ‘Baby Daddy’ Get Cancelled?
Inspired by the American film ‘Three Men and a Baby’, which was released in 1987, the series ended with its 100th episode in May 2017. Having run six seasons, the show managed to receive 7.3/10 on IMDb, which is a pretty good score for a show that did not last as long as other shows in the same genre.
There were several reasons as to why the show got cancelled. According to online sources- mostly fan tweets and Reddit threads, sometime after season 3, the audience eventually did not like the storyline anymore. But what exactly went wrong after season 3? Some comments on Reddit suggest that the show was not funny enough, and the acting was rather terrible.
“The first few seasons of the show were good, and then it got progressively worse. I also didn’t particularly enjoy the love triangle of Riley and the brothers and I think she ended up with the wrong one. Tahj Mowry and Melissa Peterman did a really great job with the show though”, explained a fan.
But it wasn’t all bad! There were a lot of fans who truly loved the show. However, that does not add up as to why the show had to bid farewell to Netflix. In 2018, Netflix decided to remove a bunch of shows and movies that were older than 5 years. This is why ‘Baby Daddy’ didn’t last too long on this OTT platform.

Will There Be A Season 7?
Fans have loved this show since its debut and have re-watched it several times already. While it is uncertain whether the seventh season will be released, fans are hopeful that it will be as they continue to share their petitions and tweets.
