Renewal status of ‘Another Life’ Season 2
The story focusses on a UFO that has landed on Earth and Erik Wallace, a top-notch scientist in the USA who fails to communicate with the aliens. Later, Captain Niko Breckinridge, who is also his wife, takes over.
She is determined to find a way of communication with the UFO, and the origin of the UFO, with the help of spaceship Salvare. Fans are excited to know whether the series has been renewed for the second season or not.
Release date and trailer updates
The official release date has not been announced so far. The first season had come out on Netflix in July 2019. On 29 October 2019, the series was renewed for a second season.
Earlier, the second season was expected to start filming from 2nd March 2020. Following this, the second season was expected to release in the fall of 2020. However, owing to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the production process of the sequel was put on hold.
Later, the makers revealed that they resumed shooting from 28 August 2020 in Vancouver, and are expecting to wrap it up by 24 November 2020. As per their current status, we are hoping that the sequel will launch latest by 2021.
Casting updates for ‘Another Life’ Season 2
One might expect the same cast to be there in the upcoming season, although nothing is official as of yet.
Most likely, we will be seeing Katee Sackhoff, Selma Blair, Tyler Hoechlin, Justin Chatwin, Samuel Anderson, Elizabeth Ludlow, Blu Hunt, Alex Ozerov, A.J. Rivera, Tongayi Chirisa, playing the lead characters. Dillon Casey, Shannon Chan-Kent, and Kurt Yaeger will be seen in supporting roles.
Trailer updates of the second season
There has not been any trailer launch yet because the cast is still shooting. The showrunners are waiting to wrap up filming and only then will they come up with a trailer launch.
According to the current status, fans won’t get a glimpse of the upcoming sequel until late or early 2020.
