74 Year Old Man Accused of Getting His fellow Church goers High on Weed Cookies
Okay, that might not be that common, but it seems to be what happened to the 74-year old man from Indiana who is being accused of serving weed cookies.
Down in Bloomington, Indiana at the Saint John’s Apostle Catholic Church, the churchgoers were in surprise last year.
One of the members of the church named as Mr. Brian Jones is accused of lacing the cookies with THC.
THC is the main psychoactive ingredient of cannabis. It’s the stuff that gets you high.

The cookies were ingested by a number of members ranging from ages 12-70. Several of these people ended up in the emergency room after complaining about the “adverse effects” and the salty taste.
Brian Jones said he never put drugs in the sweet treat.
However, when police searched his home after obtaining a warrant, they found a small orange bottle of hash oil, which is often used to make edibles.
The police issued a warrant for his arrest. He’s been charged with criminal recklessness and possession of hash oil.
Father Daniel Mahan of the church said “We are praying for everyone involved. We are praying for Mr. Jones. We are keeping in prayer those who took ill that Sunday and we are praying for justice with mercy”.
