Swiping right on Tinder means potentially dipping your finger into the world of casual sex.
I matched this girl on Tinder. We talked, we seemed to have great online chemistry. So we exchanged numbers. Nothing special so far. My most Tinder matches have either turned into dates or dummies.
So like one night, I got a text from her at 2 in the morning asking me what I was doing? *suspicion rises*
I casually replied I am not sleepy and asked her what she was doing.
But in the next text, she asked me to see her in 10 minutes. (Okay, kind of creepy)
Nothing too out of the ordinary, I said yes.
So the next thing I know is I am driving to this girl’s place following the location she sent me on maps.
I reached her apartment, I parked my car and gave her a call. She came down 2 minutes later and started making out with me. Whoa, she is wild! She didn’t care if anybody watched us at that time, at that moment.
“Can we get inside the car”, she asked me.
No big deal, I told myself. So we got inside the car and things got pretty wild and heavy.
We quickly undressed each other and engaged in hot sex. So far so good.
Flashlight Catches My Eye
Five minutes into it we were completely lost. But something caught my eye. I noticed a flashlight pointing towards us.
I stopped her to ask, what was that, did she see it? She said no and asked me also to stop worrying about it. So, we got back to doing what we were.
But after some time, the car started to fog up a little too much and we needed to gasp some air.
So I opened the car door, and the time was almost 3 in the morning. It was pitch dark, not a single soul around us and a pin-drop silence.
We both got out of the car to catch some air. But in the middle of the night when everyone was fast asleep, the freaking flashlight came out again and centered right at me.
Twist In The Tale
In the middle of the night at around 3 am, a flashlight centered me and I couldn’t see through it to see who it was. The girl I was with didn’t see it happening and tried to pull me away to the back of her apartment complex.
At this point in time, I was genuinely freaked out, and I was thinking if this girl was mad.
I was half-running half-huffing behind her with this flashlight constantly following me with wherever I was going. My pants were literally caught around my ankles.
About 10 minutes ago, I was feeling like a complete stud, and now I was feeling like the most stupidest person on Earth.
I started to think about the worst come worst scenarios in my head. And not a single one of them was a wee bit pleasant.
“Crap! It’s her father! That’s why she didn’t call me upstairs to her apartment. Oh God, I have been so foolish.”
“He is running behind me so he hasn’t shot me yet.” I had all these kinds of thoughts running with me on my mind. And I was scared out of my wits. I was literally regretting that moment the most out of the many I’ve had.
Caught In The Moment
“But what do I do? How shall I escape the ugly situation?“
Damnit, is her father carrying a weapon along with him? Was I going to be dead meat to him now? I didn’t know anything at that point in time.
“What the hell, what are you doing here *screams her name*!?”
Wait for a second, I thought. That’s too thin a voice to be a man’s voice. No, I can’t be that fortunate. Or maybe it was her father’s voice and it may be cracking from all the anger and the cat and mouse chase.
“Oh! Hey, sister! What are you doing up here?”, the voice asked.
I took a huge sigh of relief and thanked my stars at that time. It was a woman, essentially, it was her sister. She was in her nightdress, 5 feet something and most importantly she wasn’t carrying a weapon.
Hey, she doesn’t look bad either, I remember telling myself. So her sister verbally started abusing both of us. While I wasn’t even covered and my junkie was still out of my trunk, a good time for the girl, her skirt covered her.
After all the episode of running and chasing, by that time I was thirsty and my mouth ran dry.
The sister took a picture of me and my car and told her sister to get back to the apartment.
My Tinder Date Taught Me A Lesson For Life
The flashlight girl left and that moment I decided never to attend a 2 am call, especially if it is from a girl from Tinder.
We finished up and she sent me off. We continued to date for a few weeks for fun until she decided she wanted something more serious, so we broke off.
Thinking about this incident gives me goosebumps even today. This Tinder date has definitely turned into a life lesson for me.
