There is a wine theme park in France and it looks Magnifique
France is already hailed as the home of good wine, so it’s no surprise that it’s a firm favorite with connoisseurs for a holiday.
Now there’s even more reason to head on a French adventure, as the country has just opened its first wine theme park!

Located in the country’s capital of vin, Bordeaux, La Cité du Vin is an enormous event space and museum, which promises to give visitors a totally immersive experience into the history of wine.
The world’s first wine-themed gives wine lovers the opportunity to be surrounded by 14,000 wine bottles.
And even better, you can enjoy a sip of some top-notch plonk from The Belvedere, on the eighth floor of the park, which has a 360-degree view of the city.
La Cité du Vin offers tasting workshops on how to pair things like chocolate and cheese with wine, and guided tours, a retail shop, and a theater.
And it’s even home to the Wine Culture Library and some beautifully landscaped gardens, perfect for soaking up the Gironde sunshine.
Although you won’t find any roller coasters, there are simulated tours across Europe which delve into the industry’s history, and they use some pretty cool effects such that you really feel like you are there.

The park also hosts plenty of shows and events including cinema screenings, concerts, and plenty more performances, while the landscape gardens are must for those who want to soak up the sunshine and explore the picturesque region.
There is also heaps of insider information on the best wine tours and wine cruises not to miss while you are in Bordeaux.
Tickets start from €20.00 for permanent exhibitions. You can find out more on the La Cité du Vin website.
