Why did the ‘Teen Wolf’ come to an End?
After six great seasons, creators of the supernatural teen drama had decided that it was time to bid farewell to their mega-popular show ‘Teen Wolf’. The series ended with Stiles and Lydia reuniting to rescue Jackson from where Monroe was keeping him. The trio then began their search to find Ethan, which, of course, they successfully did. Towards the end of the hour, Stiles got to save the day by bombing the inugitae with mountain ash and destroying it. It was very good.
Meanwhile, Scott McCall truly did get one hell of an ending. The inugitae forced him to face a few of his former foes, tormenting him about Allison and even turning into Nogitsune Stiles for a few brilliant moments, but Scott overcame it all.

Based on how things ended on the show, there definitely could’ve been more seasons. In fact, the show “ended” by saying, “the fight goes on”. However, in an interview with “Entertainment Weekly”, Tyler Posey said, “I feel like we kind of said goodbye to the characters a little while ago and so the last day was really just for us and was really nostalgic”.
Will ‘Teen Wolf’ be back with Season 7?
According to online sources, MTV may not be ready to say goodbye to the teen horror franchise just yet. Network president Chris McCarthy told “The Hollywood Reporter” that he’s working with “Teen Wolf” showrunner, Jeff Davis, to continue making projects within the “Teen Wolf” franchise, which sure makes it sounds like a spinoff series is in the works.
So, while there might not be a new season anytime soon, there sure is a spin-off series ready to keep the TW fan base engaged. Meanwhile, in a recent twitter post, the cast of the series shared some exciting news for their fans that caught on a lot of attention.
“Hey @MTV, I think it’s time to bring the teen wolf back for new episodes. First Jersey shore family vacation. Now ‘Teen Wolf’ high school reunion. I’m ready. And 28, so it’s an appropriate age”, wrote Tyler Pousey.
Colton Haynes, who played werewolf wannabe Jackson Whittemore, tweeted “I’m in!” and Cody Christian, who played one of Scott’s frenemy, Theo Raeken, added, “I’m. So. Down”. Adding to their tweets, Khylin Rhambo, who played Mason, also responded, “I agree with all these things. Count me tf in”.

Do fans really want a New Season?
Fans love sharing their opinions on their favourite shows. Much like most fans, the ‘Teen Wolf’ fan base has stormed the internet with tweets and petitions to reboot the show, pronto.
“@netflix You are the only one that has the power to make a season 7 of a teen wolf so please help us and make one”, tweeted a fan. Adding to that another fan’s tweet said, “We need a season 7 of a teen wolf so we can’t get thiam our endgame”. Meanwhile, there is also a tiny section of the ‘Teen Wolf’ audience that doesn’t believe the series will be back or should return at all.
“The chances of teen wolf season 7 actually happening are 0,00001% please don’t believe a fake YT account”. Consequently, another tweet in disagreement read, “pls nobody wants a TW season 7 except for the locals, teen wolf is over. It’s done. The last season sucked but that was the ending. TW’s over”.
