Fantastic response to 13RW season 4 trailer teases potential season 5
The official trailer for season 4 got a stupendous response from the fans all across the world. The show creator, Brian Yorkey, hasn’t refuted the possibility of a fifth season for 13 Reasons Why. We can expect season 4 to leave us with an open-ended finale and along with it the possibility for another season. There are more than enough reasons for rebooting 13 Reasons Why for season 5.
The series became an instant hit among fans and critics, and also attracted controversy in the very first season. Its graphic depiction of issues such as rape and suicide prompted concerns from mental health professionals. There is always a never-dying demand from the fans for another set of 13 episodes due to the show’s nature of story-telling. There is enough fodder for making 13 episodes of 13 Reasons Why for a fifth season since a lot of subplots remain unexplored.
13 Reasons Why (stylized onscreen as TH1RTEEN R3ASONS WHY) is an American teen drama web television series, originally developed for Netflix, based on the 2007 novel Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. Season 4 of 13 Reasons Why, which is currently termed as the last season, will premiere on 5th June 2020.
Monty is back for his own reasons on 13 Reasons Why season 4
Monty dies in season 3 of the series. However, the actor Timothy Granaderos, who plays his role, mentioned to Elite Daily,
“There’s always more opportunity for more of his story, but at this moment, who knows?”
He further added,
“I feel like there’s so much left to unpack with his story. [It] tragically ended too soon and you were just getting to see the different shades of Monty”.
The official trailer of season 4 sees the return of Monty. He died in jail in season 3 and is back in season 4 to haunt the characters.
Season 4 will begin just after the fallout from the death of Bryce Walker, who killed Monty. The plot will focus on Tyler and Winston, the guys who knew that Monty was framed.
Right now, it does seem like the drama can’t possibly get finished within season 4. 13 Reasons Why has more than enough reasons for renewing the series for a fifth season, and we hope it does!!
