‘Better Call Saul’ Taking The ‘Breaking Bad’ Way
‘Better Call Saul’ has one surprise for the audience which might garner mixed reviews from the fans.
‘Breaking Bad’s’ final season famously split into two parts that came to be known as 5A and 5B. Part 5A premiered in 2012 and Part 5B aired in the fall of 2013. According to Vince Gilligan, the show was split into two parts to give the writers of ‘Breaking Bad’ more time to write a satisfying ending.

The break, which resulted in a year, gave the fans the ending that the show deserved. The series finale titled ‘Felina’ was an iconic ode to the saga watched by millions of people around the world. And not only that, but it also kept the viewer’s hanging while they anticipated Walter White’s end.
But was it Walter White’s end?
‘Better Call Saul’ To Split In Two
Vince Gilligan, apart from giving the viewers the greatest feat of television ever made, has also made us believe that some traditions are worth following. Like character arc or the non-linear preference for his story-telling.

‘Better Call Saul’ is ready to go the ‘Breaking Bad’ way and split into two parts. The first part, 6A, will focus on deciphering the one question we have wanted an answer to since ‘Better Call Saul’ premiered- What happens to Kim? Does she die or simply escape?
The second part, 6B, will focus on Jimmy as he gets pushed over the edge by the tragedy of losing his wife and becomes Saul from ‘Breaking Bad’. But along with Jimmy becoming Saul, we may also get to watch Walter White joining the ‘Better Call Saul’ universe and helping bridge the gap between the two universes.
And so, Walter White might be back!
Walter White and Saul Goodman Get an Early Start On!
In the past, we have witnessed how Jimmy aka Saul is responsible for turning Walter into Heisenberg. And, while the Bob Odenkirk fronted series started far from ‘Breaking Bad’, the narrative has slowly worked its way up to the predecessor.
In the finale of ‘Better Call Saul’, we will witness Jimmy overcoming the grief of losing Kim by delving deeper and deeper in the world of crime, with Walter White right by his side to help him. And it might be the end of ‘Better Call Saul’ but it is only the beginning of Saul Goodman and Walter, as they go through life as criminals.
For Saul, it was grief which led him there and for Walter, if we remember correctly- he just liked it.
