Breaking Bad’s prequel spin-off Better Call Saul has both hot and cold news for its fans. Breaking Bad’s protagonist aka Walter White will not be seen in Season 5 of Better Call Saul. The news was shared by the makers of the show which had earlier thought of pitching Walter White in the upcoming season of the prequel.

Season 5 of Better Call Saul is due to release on February 23. The show will premiere on AMC first and later on Netflix.

Better Call Saul Season 6 Will See The Return of Walter White
As mentioned earlier, Walter White will not be seen in Season 5 of Better Call Saul. However, the much-hyped character will instead be pitted in Season 6 of the show. Peter Gould, the show’s runner along with the executive producer Vince Gilligan have confirmed that the show has been picked for a season 6.
In addition, Season six will be the last of Better Call Saul with a cumulative 63 episodes. The story will bring an end to Saul’s story and etch the beginning of Breaking Bad. Therefore, introducing a familiar face such as Walter White’s played by Bryan Cranston in Breaking Bad.

Peter Gould (showrunner) has revealed that Dean Norris as Hank Schrader is confirmed to reprise his role in Season 5. But the fans will have to probably wait until Season 6 to witness the return of Aaron Paul as Jesse Pinkman and Bryan Cranston as Walter White.

Co-creator Vince Gilligan reiterated Gould’sstanceby saying that you cannot add too much hot fudge on a sundae. And, one day or the other, no matter how badly you like to continue to work with these actors and crew, there needs to be an end (sic). Thereby, shutting down all the speculations around a possible extension to the series Better Call Saul.
