So Money Heist has become a victim of its own popularity. The latest plot-hole in the series of plot-holes exposed by fans makes the brilliantly written show sound ridiculous. Gandia’s secret revealed on Money Heist! Gandia is not even an assassin let alone deadly!
In the later parts of Money Heist season 4, it was revealed by Professor that Gandia is a deadly assassin and a former member of the Spanish Special Forces. Palermo (Rodrigo de la Serna) was tied up because he threatened to leave the gang and during this time he revealed to Gandia the method to escape the captivity.
He told him to twist his thumb in order to get his hands out of handcuff. Gandia initially reluctant, paid heed to the advice and managed to escape. While for a layman it looks feasible and realistic but not to expert eyes. Fans have started questioning the scene how Gandia, being a top-notch assassin couldn’t get out of handcuffs by himself. In fact, he was only restrained by handcuffs as against others who found themselves tied in zip ties.
One Reddit fan ridiculed Money Heist for the scene by writing:
”They said he was an ‘assassin’ but he didn’t even know how to get out of f**kin’ handcuffs LMAO.”
Another pointing the plot hole said,
“What I found so ridiculous was that this man was supposed to be a secret ops assassin yet he didn’t know he could dislocate his hand to get out of the cuffs? I would think that escaping would be something he would be trained in.”
