‘The OA’ Season 2 explained
The mind-boggling plot of ‘The OA’ Season 2 kept everyone hooked till the last minute. However, it also left us all with so many questions. It was also because the gap between its first and second season was around two years. However, now the ending of season 2 of ‘The OA’ has fans asking for the show to be brought back for a season 3. Before we talk about the fate of ‘The OA’ Season 3, let’s recall what really happened at the end of season 2.
We saw Prairie Johnson’s (Brit Marling) return after she went missing for seven years. She tries to piece together her current and past life. Prairie fled from home to find her father Dr Hunter Percy, aka Hap (Isaacs), who performs experiments on people. He forcibly experiments on Prairie and four other people to figure out how to control travel between one dimension and the other.
After the season 1 finale, Prairie crossed dimensions through the magical powers of movements. She ended up in a different timeline of her life, where she was not living in the midwest. She also wasn’t blind anymore. Instead, she was now a woman raised by a Russian aristocrat father and now living in San Francisco. Prairie was now being called by her birth name Nina, who is now in some way connected to a high-tech game that tempts people inside a mysterious house and then makes them disappear.
At the end of season 2, Prairie and Hap land up in another dimension. When they wake up, they find themselves surrounded by the crew of a movie or TV show. In this dimension Prairie is Brit. On the other hand, Hap enters the body of Jason Isaacs, who is, Brit’s husband, in this dimension.
