After all, it seems To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before wasn’t the only 2018 Netflix original to get a sequel. Yes, Your favourite movie The Kissing Booth too is ready with a sequel.

Netflix’s teen romantic-comedy sensation The Kissing Booth is also one of the most-rewatched movies of 2018. In addition, Netflix escalated the excitement of its fans by announcing the sequel of The Kissing Booth on 14th February 2019.
The filming for The Kissing Booth sequel began in June 2019 and finished in October 2019.

Who will be returning to The Kissing Booth 2?
As thrilled as fans were with The Kissing Booth 2 announcement video on social media platforms, it also leads them to worry whether or not Jacob Elordi will be returning as Noah Flynn as he was nowhere to be found.

However, drool-worthy boy Jacob Elordi has reaffirmed to reprise his role as Noah, along with Joey King as Elle Evans. In addition, Joel Courtney will also be returning as Lee Flynn, Elle’s best friend, and Flynn’s brother.

New start calls for new faces and therefore, we will be seeing some fresh faces in the sequel of The Kissing Booth. Netflix has confirmed that Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Taylor Perez will be joining the cast.
They will star as Chloe and Marco, respectively. While we’ve spilled beans about their casting, we will upscale it by a wee bit by telling you that they will be playing ‘love interests’ but not for each other.

On the contrary, we are not as yet fully confirmed if Meganne Young will be back as Lee’s girlfriend Rachel. And as for the OMG girls; Bianca Bosch as Olivia, Jessica Sutton as Mia and Zandile-Izandi Madliwa as Gwyneth, their return also hangs in the loom in The Kissing Booth sequel.
Another character we are not clear if she will be returning is Molly Ringwald who plays Noah and Lee’s mother.

Can we expect to see Elle and Noah together?
The first part of the movie saw Noah heading off to college meanwhile Elle stating that she’s not sure whether or not they’ll stay together. However, in The Kissing Booth sequel, Elle goes to visit Noah at college and returns with the most romantic summer vacation with her boyfriend Noah Flynn. And now Noah is off to Harvard meanwhile Elle heads back to high school for her senior year.

She’ll have to juggle between a long-distance relationship with Fynn with the struggle of landing into her dream college with her best friend Lee. Complications set to arise when Elle finds herself in a close friendship with an attractive and charismatic new classmate Marco (Taylor Perez).

While on the other hand, Noah finds himself growing seemingly close to this perfect college girl (Maisie Richardson-Sellers). Now it’s in the hands of Elle to decide how much she trusts him and to whom her heart truly belongs.
