Stranger Things Season 3 Premise
It’s the blistering summer of 1985 in Hawkins, Indiana. There’s a spanking new Startcourt Mall that has become the prime focus of the town. Chief of Police Jim Hopper is at odds over Eleven’s and Mike’s burgeoning relationship. Meanwhile, Joyce contemplates moving out of Hawkins in search for a better livelihood.
However, bizarre power fluctuations spark Will’s consciousness of something transcendental. At the same time, Max and Eleven feel something is kooky about the town’s residents. Fear continues to monger among the locals in spite of having closed the portal to the Upside Down.
When the town is jeopardized by old and new foes, Eleven and her friends are cautioned that the nefarious never ends, it evolves. Now they will have to reunite and fight these forces against all odds.
Plot and Major Spoilers for Stranger Things Season 4 Revealed
Spoiler #1: Season 4’s working title is Tareco.
So the fact that Stranger Things announcement video’s tagline read ‘We are no more in Hawkins’ actively indicates towards a possible shift of location. Moreover, Tareco is a place in Mexico. Additionally, the first episode of Stranger Things Season 4 is titled ‘The Hellfire Club’.
Spoiler #2: Inclusion of a new character
There are gobs of fan theories online that suggest Millie Bobbie Brown may regain her powers. How she obtains this feat is still ambiguous. Some say the narrative might haul a Deux ex Machina, while others suggest either Will or Mike will come to her aide.
Spoiler #3: Hopper might be alive
According to a Stranger Things studio-visit video, a fan from Reddit has thrown a theory that suggests Hopper might be alive and in prison. A screengrab from the video depicts drawings from Will’s room that features an inmate but, in shackles.
The prisoner also exhibits the number 403 stuck onto his uniform. Many claim it is similar to the hospital room number where Nancy had visited Mrs Driscoll. The user suggests that the prisoner might be Hopper and that he is alive. Yet, there is no other evidence available to substantiate his logic. Even so, it will be interesting to watch Hopper come alive and how, in Season 4.
Each season has taken place a year apart – season 1 set in 1983, 2 in 1984 and 3 in 1985. Thus, Stranger Things Season 4 will be set in 1986 unless there’s a huge time leap.
Which cast members will return for Stranger Things Season 4?
The main star cast – Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Sadie Sink (Max) and Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin) are conspicuous to return. Winona Ryder will also, without a doubt, reprise her role as a stressed mom in Joyce Byers.
Unfortunately, Dacre Montgomery a.k.a Billy was killed by the Mind-Flayer monster in the battle of Startcourt at the end of Season 3. and probably, will not be returning.
Stranger Things makers always have something new to offer to fans in each season. And Season 4 will surely open Pandora’s Box full of new excitement for its fans and audiences on Netflix. In the meantime, we recommend that you binge-watch Stranger Things season 1-3 before season 4 is released.
