Could Hopper be alive only to be trapped in the upside-down? We’ll soon get to know. But right now we are more curious to know if Stranger Things Season 4 is coming in two parts.
Highlights:
- Stranger things 4 is rumoured to be split into two parts leading to the finale
- The American prison in Russia could be Dr Brenner
- Most part of Stranger Things 4 will be in the upside-down.
The most-watched Netflix Original show is back at it again. Only this time, It is even better news. Duffer Brothers may have a plan and a smart one at that. Stranger Things 4 will be in two parts before the curtains are closed. One of the most popular shows on Netflix will be ending sooner than all of us anticipated.

Rumour has it that the storyline of the fourth season will be extended to have it out in parts. While the first part of Stranger Things 4 is already in the works, the second one will continue the same storyline and have the series end altogether.
Meaning, Sir?
The first three seasons dabbled in monstrous battles, mind flayer, budding romances, and Eleven’s superpowers. The third season, however, gave a real blow to the fans with a massive explosion in the end that led to Hopper’s death.
The fourth season will, allegedly, be more about the upside-down. At least the first part of it, if the split happens. With the teaser for the fourth instalment already out, it is pretty evident that most of it would be in the upside-down.
Also, if you go by the end and the post-credit scenes of the third season, we see Joyce, Will, and Eleven leave Hawkins, Indiana. Cut to the post-credit scenes, there’s an American man holed up in a Russian prison. Meaning, we get to go to Russia too!
Is he Hopper (as many theories suggest) or is he the infamous Dr Brenner? Well, only time will tell.

Will the fate of the second part of Stranger Things 4 be sweet?
While season 3 ended on several cliffhangers, the teaser has made things a little more clear. Yes, we see Hopper’s desk in the upside-down. Meaning: Could he be trapped in the upside-down? The doors to the same closed with the disappearance of the Chief at the end of season 3. Since it was an explosion, it has been assumed that Hopper is dead. However, the man could possibly be very much alive and trapped in the alternate dimension that is upside down.
This brings me to think that while the first part might deal with the Russian prison, Hopper in the Upsidedown, the Demogorgon, and eleven’s loss of her superpowers, the second and final part of Stranger Things might end up with shocking events.

The optimist in me hopes for Joyce and Hopper to be reunited and live their happily ever after. The squad will be stronger than ever, even though Eleven will no longer be a host to superpowers. If Dr Brenner is alive, his covert experiments would be exposed and somehow the Demogorgon will be dead shutting the portal to the upside-down forever.
Could this really happen? Could the viewers be gifted with a special happily after? Or is it just wishful thinking on my part?
Stranger things 4 will probably be released by Christmas 2020. Stay Tuned.
