Will Eleven team up with the villainous creatures of ‘Stranger Things’? Here’s what we think.
The end of ‘Stranger Things’ Season 3 left Eleven with no powers. We witnessed Billy Hargrove combating a massive Mind Flayer. This creature eventually managed to get to Eleven too. There is a possibility that the Mind Flayer was the reason behind her powers vanishing. So, could the injury turn Eleven dangerous in season 4 of ‘Stranger Things’? Here is everything you need to know.

A dangerous turn for Eleven on ‘Stranger Things’?
By the end of season 3 of ‘Stranger Things’ we know nothing about the powers of the Mind Flayer, except that if any human comes in contact with it, they could die. The Mind Flayer was first seen with an army of Demon Dogs attacking the Hawkins Lab. However, it was stopped in time when Eleven managed to close the gate. But a part of the creature got trapped in the human world. The creature feeds off chemicals, rats, humans that later leads to it creating a body.
When the Mind Flayer attacked Hopper’s cabin, he grabbed Eleven by the ankle. The rest of the group helped Eleven escape from the creature, but it ended up hurting her ankle. When the group reached the mall, Eleven realized that there must be something inside it, causing her a lot of pain. Eleven then used her powers to take the creature out of the wound. Even though she took it out, Eleven ended up losing all her powers. Hence, the Mind Flayer might have been the cause behind it.
Earlier, the Mind Flayer caused Will to have visions of the Upside-Down world. Hence, it would be fair to say that the infection will have some dangerous repercussions on Eleven in ‘Stranger Things’ Season 4. While her powers may come back, we can easily assume that they will not be the same as before. In season 2 of ‘Stranger Things,’ Will was used as the loophole into the human world. Just like that, Eleven may be the key to conquer much bigger things in the real world.
We will also have to keep in mind that turning Eleven’s evil will complicate the series as everyone has always relied on her. She is the only essential character with powers who is capable of fighting Demogorgons and Mind Flayers. So, if Eleven turns dangerous, it will get quite tough to defeat her. Many people believe that this will be a great twist. As we know, Eleven has always been the saviour on most occasions, so a dangerous side of her on ‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 will be highly refreshing and entertaining.
Millie Bobby Brown talks about her character Eleven
In an interview with “Elle”, Millie Bobby Brown talked about the possible ‘Stranger Things’ theory.
“I kind of like it! I’m into it. I wasn’t playing it like that. We don’t know what happens in season 4. I don’t. In scenes after the Mind Flayer grabbed me, I wasn’t playing it as I was infected. I was definitely playing it as normal as possible. And maybe that’s the reason they didn’t tell me. To make it as real as possible.”
A great relief for fans of the mystery thriller series was to find out about Jim Hopper‘s return in the ‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 teaser. So, will we see a Hopper vs Eleven on ‘Stranger Things’? Guess we’ll have to wait till the release of ‘Stranger Things’ Season 4.
The other villains of ‘Stranger Things’
As we know, the inspiration behind the villains on ‘Stranger Things’ comes from Dungeons and Dragons. At the beginning of ‘Stranger Things’ we also saw Will, Mike, Dustin, and Lucas play this game. Dustin once compared the Upside Down to Dungeons and Dragons Vale of Shadows to a dimension that is a dark reflection, or echo, of our world. The Demogorgon has been named after the powerful Dungeons and Dragons monster. Mind Flayer also comes from the same demonic world. Hence, we can expect many more Dungeons and Dragons villains to be part of ‘Stranger Things’ Season 4.
