Not Eleven – Eight will kill Mind Flayer in Stranger Things 4.
It’s Eleven since the beginning of Stranger Things. We have been told that she opened the Gate, she brought Mind Flayer in this world, she has the powers to close that Gate, and she only can kill the Mind Flayer. We never thought of any other possibility or potential character that can kill Mind Flayer other than Eleven. But it has been three seasons of Stranger Things, and multiple attempts by Eleven to kill the Mind Flayer and close the Gate.

Now, there are a dozen theories out there justifying her failures. However, a simple explanation could be Eleven not being capable or powerful enough to kill Mind Flayer. Or, Duffer Brothers and Netflix having some other plans to kill Mind Flayer. Now, we predict that it’s not Eleven but Eight who’ll kill Mind Flayer in Stranger Things.
Eight will be back in Stranger Things 4.
There should be no doubt among the fans regarding the return of Eight in Stranger Things 4. She has been portrayed as an important character to the show and Eleven. Her storyline remained unexplored, her introduction in show stays unjustified, and her purpose remains unfulfilled with the extremely short duration for which she appeared in Stranger Things 2. Thus, there is no reason for which Duffer Brothers should leave Eight out of Stranger Things 4.
Also, Eight aka Kali Prasad, played by Linnea Berthelsen, is marked as a recurring character in Stranger Things. That means we have more of her left to see.
Now, we don’t know for sure what Duffer Brothers might make her do in Stranger Things 4. But we predict that if not Eleven, Eight will return to kill Mind Flayer in Stranger Things 4. Though it seems absurd, we have reasons to claim so. Also, to those who might argue that she didn’t have enough powers, we didn’t see enough of her.

Emotionally vulnerable Eleven in Stranger Things 4.
One of the main reasons behind Eleven failing in killing Mind Flayer is her emotional vulnerabilities. She, with her superpowers, is still a human at heart. She now has friends, lover, father, and a town. She has been exposed to a verity of emotions and relations that makes her weaker. She has to think before risking everything. While Eight was shown in Stranger Things 2 without any such emotional attachments to make her weak. Thus, we think that not Eleven, but Eight will kill Mind Flayer in Stranger Things.
The essence of evil in Eight aka Kali Prasad.
Eleven, even though is very powerful, has a good heart. On the other hand, Eight was portrayed as a shady character in the Second Season of Stranger Things. Though it hasn’t been foreshadowed yet in the show, it is possible that Mind Flayer could only be killed through negative energy.
In that case, the reason Eleven has failed all the way to kill Mind Flayer could be good in her heart. And if it’s so, then not Eleven but Eight, with her evil nature, can prove to be exactly the weapon world needs to kill Mind Flayer in Stranger Things 4.
