There is noise in the room that season 8 will be the final season and if that is so then this is how we have reimagined our favourite characters and their happy ending.
Gina Linetti
Gina Linetti aka the cynical woman is known for her character that causes trouble in the precinct. She is rarely seen to be doing what she is paid to do for, unless, she is given a direct order by Captain Holt.

Gina Linetti bid goodbye to the show in season 5 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine on the note of taking care of her child. However, speculations have it she will make a comeback in season 7 of Brooklyn 99. She is a mother now and much excited about her return to the precinct.
Season 7 and 8 will be two years ahead and time and since then a lot has changed for Gina. Her child is all grown up citing which Gina can finally resume her work. She is back to being the sarcastic and lunatic woman except with much more confidence now. Gina is not a detective however her exceptional skills at solving a complex murder mystery lands her a job as a detective in Season 8. Will she accept it?
Rosa & Boyle
We knew from the start how much Boyle is smitten by Rosa Diaz. He was madly in love with her but most of it was one-sided. Rosa is a smart and tough detective. She is a strong woman that instills fear in everybody who tries to be friends with her. However in season 8, the two are finally married and even have a child now but Rosa remains the same old person she is and Boyle is terrified by her even one and a half years of their marriage. Well, true who says certain things never change.

Jake & Amy
Jake Amy – Jake and Amy are competitive on the work front but once they are out of their office, Jake switches to a caring father to his twin girls. Yes, Jake and Amy are parents to twin girls. Jake is struggling to be a father going by the definition. He wants his girls to grow to become a detective and Jake daydreams of how their cute pair of daughters will make the perfect cop and go on their father. While Amy disagrees and argues their daughters should try something of their wish and suggests they will go more like on her mother.

However, Jake and Amy have fights in Season 7 due to work pressure and that takes a toll on their relationship. But, in season 8, Jake and Amy fix their problems and resume as happy couples.
Captain Holt

Captain Holt –After having a sprawling career of 25 years, and the first gay captain in the NYPD (New York Police Dept) Captain Holt finally puts down his papers and opts for retirement. The stoic and professionally staunch Captain have seen everything in his career and now he feels he needs to take a break in his life. Raymond Holt steps into retirement and spends time with his husband Cozner and dog. However, he is still very much in touch with the squad and often meets them frequently at Shaw’s bar, their occasional hanging spot. The responsibility and the position of Captain Holt are now transferred to Terry.
Terry Crew

Terry Crew- Terry is the new Captain of the precinct but finds it difficult to fill the gap of Captain Holt’s shoes. Terry struggles to organize the work and the people at the Precinct. He often is in despair for failing to look as promising as Captain Holt. However, Ray Holt frequently calls him up and shares his piece of mind so Terry finds it good to go. Let’s not forget, apart from work, Terry also has his children to look upon and Terry is one guy that tries to achieve the best and look the best no matter how. He finds himself shackled in the routine but steady of taking these challenges that is ahead of him.
Hitchcock & Scully

Hitchcock and Scully- Nothing absolutely changes about the most lazy pair of characters on the show are seen playing silly games with each other. They are probably disgusting because they hog on 1 week old pasta and clear each other’s ear wax. Hitchcock and Scully have been partners in the NYPD for 30 years. They are close friends, and hang out together on weekends, for eating mostly. They both are clueless and reckless detectives mostly given the task of handling the paperwork at the precinct. They will remain the same and continue to trouble our new detectives.
