Production update
Earlier in February, ‘Stranger Things’ had begun shooting for its new season in Atlanta, Vilnius, and Lithuania. But due to the outbreak of the pandemic, Netflix suspended film and TV production. But the good news is, as confirmed by “Deadline“, the sci-fi horror series resumed filming on September 28th in Georgia. Netflix’s official Twitter account also confirmed it by posting a photo.
In an interview with “Collider“, executive producer Shawn Levy gave an update of the highly awaited season 4 of ‘Stranger Things‘. He spoke about how the pandemic has massively delayed shooting and, therefore, the launch of the current season 4 is to be determined. He also spoke about the pandemic’s positive impact as it allowed the Duffer brothers, for the first time ever, to write the entire season before they shot it. They also had the time to rewrite in a way that they rarely had before. According to Levy, the quality of these screenplays is exceptional, maybe better than ever.

In an interview with “Vogue“, Natalia Dyer who plays the role of Nancy Wheeler spoke about ‘Stranger Things’ Season 4.
“Honestly, the scripts are great. I’m very excited. I’m excited for Nancy. Every time we end a season, we all think, where is this going to go? Where can this possibly go? Then we get the scripts for the next season and we’re, like, ‘Oh my god, wow, like, wow!’ So, while I can’t say a lot, except that it’s going to be a while before it comes out, it will definitely be worth it. It’s going to be really big. It’s going to be big!”
