But first, let us take you through 10 major highlights of Mirzapur Season 2. Moreover, if you are a die-hard fan of Mirzapur web series on Amazon Prime Video, these highlights in itself have clues about what’s in store for Mirzapur Season 3.
1/10
Long Live Kaleen Bhaiya!
We all have loved Kaleen Bhaiya aka Pankaj Tripathi who was thrilling in a negative role in this crime thriller. Tripathi is the best thing to have happened to Mirzapur and he is seen in the same no-nonsense avatar.
2/10
Old Guns, New Blood
This season you will see a darker shade of both the characters left alive from the carnage at the end of season 1. Golu (Shweta Tripathi) and Guddu (Ali fazal) who surprise you with different shades in their character this season.
3/10
Pay Attention To Details
You will love the action, dialect, unsettled twists and modern humor. There is a lot of substance in the writing which draws the attention of the viewer and keeps them interested.
4/10
The Real Battlefield is at Home
Akhandanand’s much-younger second wife, Beena (Rasika Dugal), is woefully starved of his intimate attentions. And its delight watching her take matters into her own hands for her honour. The show has women come out of the shadow of their life which was dominated by power-hungry men. Now Mirzapur season 3 will tell how for these women take their ambitions.
5/10
The Fault in Kaleen Bhaiya’s Stars
Akhandanand’s biggest enemy is his own offspring. His hot-headed son Munna is aching to take over the empire. He is the real star of this season with his chutzpah and comic timings during some scenes with Guddu and Tyagi.

6/10
Hell Hath No Fury Like A Woman Scorned
Golu (Shweta Tripathi), surprise with her character sketch taking a complete U turn. She is shocking, bold and outright smart in her new character sketch this season, which she should be proud of.
7/10
You can’t Stop till the Finale
The struggle between fathers and sons, the sharp-tongued men and compromised women entertains you to watch the next episode for more.
8/10
Welcome to the Jungle
Kulbhushan Kharbanda aka Bauji’s the real ‘King of Mirzapur’s’ fondness with National Geographic and lustful scenes and gutsy dialogues proves, it is a jungle out there.
9/10
Guddu’s Internal Conflict
Ali Fazal plays Guddu like a man tormented, who shows that its better to attack the enemy with brains rather than using muscle power all the time.
10/10
Longer but Stickier
The episodes are longer but the intensity keeps you glued onto your seats for more. It clearly shows that each character has their flaws and how they seem to haunt them in this season.
What to expect from Mirzapur Season 3
In the finale episode of Season 2, the fate of other pivotal characters has also been left hanging. The reviews are out and fans are already speculating about Season 3, the star cast has also confirmed that the shooting will commence soon once the script is finalized. Let’s see what we can look forward to for the next season.
Watch: Best of MIRZAPUR – Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Vikrant Massey
To begin with, we saw Munna Tripathi getting killed by Golu (Shweta Tripathi) and Guddu (Ali Fazal). There is no doubt that Munna was the highlight of the show and the makers have really shown a lot of courage in ending the character in season 2. You can love him, you can hate him, but he is someone you love to see more.
The only guy who used his brains more than guns in this show has been Sharad Shukla, will his character take a u turn and will he be the new Munna?
Going by the ending in the last episode of season 2, Kaleen Bhaiya survived the attack so now Sharad surely will have his blessings and guidance in season 3 to take revenge from Guddu (Ali Fazal). We sure hope we get to see fewer characters in season 3 and there is more bloodbath like season 1 and characters that have more shades of grey.
Also, the character of Isha Talwar aka Madhuri was the highlight of season 2 along with Rasika Duggal aka Beena who showed that all is not well within the family. Will these women change the fate of the Mirzapur empire and add the much-needed twist for Season 3 to be much more entertaining? Let’s wait and watch!
