Why are the fans angry with the ending of ‘The Originals’?
The general consensus regarding fans’ dismay with the finale was the decision to kill off Klaus. This plotline meant that Klaus’ daughter Hope will become an orphan. It also meant the end of Klaus and Caroline’s love saga. The show’s ending left no scope for a happy romantic adieu to the series.
One of the fans wrote in dismay:
“Julie could have done so much with the finale but instead she killed off Klaus & robbed him of his happy ending. He could have been redeemed & lived!” He added, “Elijah could have died & been reunited with Hayley. Klaroline could have been endgame. Hope could have had her father. #TheOriginals”.
Caroline had to go through this for the second time. On ‘The Vampire Diaries’, she couldn’t end her story happily with Stefan either.

Joseph Morgan finally spills the beans on his comeback
On being asked about his comeback as Klaus on season 3 of ‘Legacies’, he blatantly gave his answer as “No”. He will not be appearing on ‘Legacies’. Morgan explained, “You can hold your breath as long as you want. You know why?” He ended the suspense by saying, “I have ‘The Originals’ box set on my shelf, and it’s a beautiful thing because it’s five DVD sets that are a complete story from beginning to end of this guy, Klaus Michaelson — well, starting back in ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 2”.
Adding further, he said, “So I just feel like to come back as a ghost or a flashback or something, for me, that journey, that story has ended. That’s the complete story, and it just doesn’t feel right to me to do that”.
According to him, Klaus did something good finally in the end. He protected his daughter and freed her from the curse. It was tragic for him and the fans who loved him. But people should understand that he got a chance to be good. Bringing him back would not be right.
He confirmed that Julie Plec also confirms his position on his character. Joseph Morgan added multiple layers to his character and played him brilliantly. He will be missed. We aren’t losing hope though. We still want them to change their perspective on the character.
