Who to expect in Grey’s Anatomy Season 17
Meredith Grey is the lifeblood of the show Grey’s Anatomy. Ellen Pompeo, playing the role of Meredith Grey, renewed her contract through 2021 with Grey’s Anatomy. One of the producers, pilot developer and series writer, Shonda Rhimes and Ellen have a shared pact that the show will go on till both of them are in this together. If either one of them steps out; the show comes to an end.
Ellen, evidently is not yet ready to move on. So the show must go on because Grey’s Anatomy is not Grey’s Anatomy without Ellen Pompeo.
On the other hand, Justin Chambers did announce that he will be leaving the show in January 2020. Well! Cross your fingers folks if you want Alex to show up in the Grey Salon Medical Hospital in the next and final Season of Grey’s Anatomy. Or else, let’s see how the void created by his absence will be filled up throughout the season.
Jess Williams playing the role of Dr. Jackson Avery had signed up for the new series of Hulu named as Little Fires Everywhere. But this doesn’t change a thing as he has confirmed his much needed presence on Grey’s Anatomy Season 17 when he said that he has already inked the deal.
When is the big time of release?
The much awaited Grey’s Anatomy Season 17 will unveil and be back on the screens sooner than later. As per the traditional premiers of the seasons of Grey’s Anatomy, the seventeenth season is expected to be premiered on the last Thursday of September 2020. If the #TGIT (Thank God it’s Thursday) lineup will be followed by the American Broadcasting Company (ABC), the color-blind casted medical show will be followed by its sister show, Station 19.

Will it end? How?
The astonishing Season 16 is just at the end of the road exciting its dedicated viewers to see where their favorite characters end up. The time is near when you’ll feel like the hospitals are there without the doctors as there would be Thursdays without the Grey’s Anatomy.
During her presence on The Late Late Show With James Corden, Ellen Pompeo did give a hint that this would be the final of the series when she said, “Well, I can’t really say what I think, because if we really do what I want to do, that would give it away,”.
She also expressed her desire to bring back the entire original cast of Grey’s Anatomy to wrap up the show. Apparently, it doesn’t seem to happen as “some of them were killed on the show”.
Oh well, here’s hoping that the finale will not let us down and deliver the phenomenal surprises in Season 17.
