When you think of God, angels, demon, heaven or hell, think of Lucifer. No, I don’t mean the biblical character, but I mean the American mystery television series.
Highlights
- Lucifer is gay
- The invincible and immortal Angel almost dies
- Season 5 confirmation and Coronavirus
Who is Lucifer?

The series gives a different light to the universally known Lucifer, A.K.A the devil, as quite an “angel”. The fictional character is a fallen angel who was quite rebellious in heaven, and so was banished by God to serve as lord in hell.
Hell turns out to be super boring; he abandons his throne and moves to Los Angeles. He opens and runs his own high-end nightclub called “Lux” for 5 years during which he joins forces with the Los Angeles Police Department as a civilian consultant.
Is Lucifer Really Gay?
Over the 4 seasons, you’ll see how open he is about his identity as the devil. Since most people do not take him seriously, they believe him only when they see his true demonic appearance.
Fun fact, Lucifer is bisexual. Go LGBT! He is super sexual and is often irresistible to most people.
He’s Got Wings
The fallen angel possesses superhuman strength powerful enough to throw a man several yards. His supernatural abilities and immortality enable him to withstand gunfire or walk on fire without getting harmed.

Lucifer doesn’t need to drink red bull to get those wings. He has a pair of his own which is as durable as his body is.
Chloe + Lucifer = Chlucifer forever
As strong and mighty Lucifer sounds, he does have one weakness. Chloe Decker, a LAPD homicide detective is his partner in crime and love. As cheesy is that sounds, Lucifer is different when he’s around her.
He can succumb to injuries very easily and if he is mortally injured when she’s around, he can die just like any other human!
Lucifer’s Fam Jam
Lucifer has a very complicated relationship with his parents. While being banished from heaven, his parents didn’t quite stick by him. Throughout the series, their relationship continues to be a complicated one.
In season 2, he intends to help his mother return to heaven, so she and his father could destroy each other. However, he sends his mother to an alternative universe instead where she could create her own world free of God’s influence.
Cain But No Abel
In season 3, Lucifer meets Lieutenant Marcus Pierce who is also Cain; the first murderer. Surprise, surprise, Peirce and Chloe begin to date but Lucifer is unable to express his feelings. Along the way he loses his devil face but recovers it after kills Cain, which Chloe sees in the season finale.
Eve is back
As season 4 sets in, Eve comes back from hell and confesses to Lucifer that she still has feelings for him. Chloe still doesn’t know how to wrap her head around Lucifer’s truth so she keeps her distance. At the same time, Lucifer and Eve rekindle their relationship but they don’t last as long as expected.
Oh, Corona!
