At the end of Stranger Things 3, the heroes lost almost everything. There were a couple of deaths, a few goodbyes, and Eleven without powers by the end. However, a new theory suggests that Dr Brenner will bring back Eleven’s powers in Stranger Things 4.
The Season 3 of Netflix Original Stranger Things ended on a tragic note. Jim Hopper was presumably dead. Billy also died while saving Eleven. Joyce was leaving Hawkins and taking Will, Jonathan, and Eleven with her. Mike and the group were sad.
However, the most important thing was the loss of Eleven’s powers. Yes, Eleven was exhausted, and her powers were gone. This didn’t happen as Eleven tried to kill Mind Flayer. Eleven was left with no powers in front of Mind Flayer. In previous seasons, when Eleven tried to kill Mind Flayer, she used her powers to an extreme extent, thus, draining out of her power. However, her powers returned each time.
But this time, even after three months of losing power, Eleven didn’t get them back. Now, a new theory suggests that only Dr Brenner will be able to bring back Eleven’s powers in Stranger Things 4.

Is Dr Brenner going to bring back Eleven’s powers in Stranger Things 4?
If you forgot, then let us remind you that Dr Brenner was Eleven’s “Papa”. As we saw in the Season 1 and Season 2, Dr Brenner was Eleven’s father, and thus she referred to him as “Papa”. However, it was later revealed that Brenner was not Eleven’s biological father.
But because he abducted her in infant age, and then raised her to think of him as her father, she thought that he was her father. He kept Eleven in the Hawkins Laboratory and experimented upon her to enhance her powers and capabilities. During these experiments, Eleven accidentally opened the Gate to Upside-Down, and later she flew away from the lab.
Now, because Dr Brenner was the reason behind Eleven having those super-powers, fans are theorizing that Dr Banner will only bring back Eleven’s powers in Stranger Things 4.
Is Dr Brenner Alive?
Dr Brenner was presumably dead by the end of Stranger Things 2. The last time we saw him, he was attacked by the Demogorgon, and then the screen went black. Now, because whenever we didn’t saw a character die in Stranger Things by our own eyes, he or she has returned to surprise us.
This uncertainty about the fate of characters in the show has got fans thinking if Brenner was actually dead. Some Reddit users have claimed that Brenner is alive, and hiding in Hawkins only.
How Eleven lost her powers in Stranger Things 3?
Unlike previous seasons, Eleven lost her powers before the final fight in Stranger Things 3. At the beginning of the last episode of Season 3, Eleven realized that a part of Mind Flayer’s Blob was eating her from inside while being under the skin of her leg. After various failed surgeries by her friends, she used her powers to extract it out.
It was tough and painful for her. However, after that moment, her powers were gone. It was probably the part of Mind Flayer that sucked her powers, or it was the attempt to extract it that exhausted her. But after that, she didn’t get her powers back, even after a couple of months were passed.
How Dr Brenner will bring Eleven’s powers back in Stranger Things 4?
There are some theories on Reddit suggesting how Brenner will bring back Eleven’s powers in Stranger Things 4. It’s suggested that after suffering for her entire life, the trauma of losing Hopper, Mike, and her powers will break Eleven, and she’ll end up in the Mental Hospital of Hawkins. Here, Nancy, as always on the front line, will find Eleven and will manage to get her out.
Now, it’s unclear if Brenner is in Hawkins, Russia, or Upside Down. But wherever he is, he’ll be back. And he’ll treat Eleven to help her revive her powers. The theories claim that Brenner will still be an antagonist. But under some pressure, and for his own interests, he will treat Eleven.
