Not just you, Tyler Posey also wants a ‘Teen Wolf’ reboot
Tyler Posey took to Twitter on March 26th this year to pitch his idea of a ‘Teen Wolf’ reboot. He said, “Hey @MTV I think it’s time to bring the ‘Teen Wolf’ back for new episodes. First Jersey shore family vacation. Now ‘Teen Wolf’ high school reunion. I’m ready. And 28, so it’s an appropriate age”.

And guess what, Tyler’s co-stars are supporting his idea. Cody Christian replied, declaring that he is “So, down”, while Colton Haynes tweeted: “I’m in!” The official Twitter account for MTV even responded, quipping: “I wish I possessed this power!!!”
Tyler has over and over requested the makers to go for the reboot of ‘TeenWolf’. He admitted that he often relishes himself as Scott McCall by watching old episodes of ‘Teen Wolf’.
“It’s nice taking breaks from it, then going back and reminiscing”, Tyler told a fan earlier this year. It is well known that fans of the show have always wanted the reboot of ‘Teen Wolf’. They aren’t happy that ‘Teen Wolf’ ended so soon.
But it looks like Dylan O’Brien is not too excited about a reboot and will not star in the ‘Teen Wolf’ reboot if it happens.
Dylan O’Brien chooses action projects over ‘Teen Wolf’ reboot
Tyler is still friends with Dylan. They went to Comic-Con together. He said, “[Dylan] is still one of my best friends. We went to Comic-Con [recently] with each other. It was our first time we went without any obligations because ‘Teen Wolf’ is over, so we didn’t have anything to promote and we went and partied and danced all night until five in the morning”.
But Dylan, who found fame in ‘Teen Wolf’ thinks that he has bigger things to achieve in his acting career than the teen drama. During the filming of ‘The Maze Runner: The Death Cure’ (film #3), he ended up seriously injuring himself during a stunt. In the scene on ‘Death Cure’, a train and two trucks were involved, which was already complex coordination. O’Brien was struck by one of the vehicles and was reportedly run over. It could have been fatal if Dylan was a bit older. He survived it because he still was in his early 20s.
He admitted that he went through psychological hell during the recovery period. The studio pressured him to get back to work sooner than he would have.
But has he said no to all stunts now? Well, no, in fact, before he finally finished his role in ‘The Death Cure’, he acted in another action film called ‘American Assassin’. At the moment, he’s filming another action movie and doing some risky things. He wants to carry on his action hero image. Many actors worry that they will be deemed weak if they rely on stunt doubles.
So, even if ‘Teen Wolf’ reboots with a high school reunion special, we will not be seeing the Tyler-Dylan duo in it.
