‘Cobra Kai’: Johnny Lawrence leads this karate fest
The series is set 34 years after the original Karate Kid film and is told from the perspective of Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), as he decides to reopen the Cobra Kai karate dojo and rekindle old rivalry with nemesis Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio). Johnny saves his teenage neighbour Miguel Diaz (Xolo Maridueña) from a group of bullies by using his karate skills and develops a relationship with him like the one between Daniel and Mr. Miyagi in the original movie.

The show revolves around the relationships between these characters as well as other students of Cobra Kai played by Tanner Buchanan, Peyton List, Jacob Bertrand and Mary Mouser.
‘Cobra Kai’ is one of the most widely watched digital series around the world. Season 1 and season 2 of the series have reached around 90 million views each. The series became the most-watched series on Netflix globally in September 2020. Its insane popularity has also resulted in the development of a video game called “Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues”.
Season 3 trailer guarantees a bigger dose of action
The official synopsis of season 3 reads:
“Season 3 finds everyone reeling in the aftermath of the violent high school brawl between their dojos, which has left Miguel in a precarious condition. While Daniel searches for answers in his past and Johnny seeks redemption, Kreese further manipulates his vulnerable students with his own vision of dominance. The soul of the Valley is at stake, and the fate of every student and sensei hangs in the balance.”
Netflix has released the trailer of ‘Cobra Kai’s’ upcoming season and it has raised the excitement of fans through the roof! The trailer shows that things have become tougher at Cobra Kai under the leadership of John Kreese. After suffering from the near-fatal accident at the end of season 2, Miguel has finally opened his eyes in the hospital but there is no surety of his complete recovery.
Season 3 will be witnessing Johnny and Daniel working together, uniting their students to fight the bad guys. Needless to say, the upcoming season will kickstart our 2021 in style.
