They mostly struggle to keep their business from sinking while also making sure that their clients are happy. The sudden death of the agency’s founder forces the four agents to work more diligently. They have to do so to get the contract fulfilled. Most times it also leads to them forgetting the difference between a professional and personal life. The show also takes us through some serious topics such as sexual harassment, pay inequality among different genders, and much more. Producers Aurélien Larger and Harold Valentin confirmed to “Variety” that the French comedy gem, ‘Call My Agent’, will end after its fourth season.
“With these characters, we feel we have told what needs to be told. Rather than do something like ‘The Good Wife’ where we split the team and create an antagonist or enemy, we are happy with what we are doing. It is the right time to close the show”,
said Valentin. He was also asked about doing a ‘Call My Agent‘ feature film in the future.
“Some people talk about it. We will see. We would need to find the right story and the right trigger for the story. We are very happy with these four seasons and to move on to new shows”,
