Ever since Brooklyn Nine-Nine began, the 99th precinct has been conducting an annual Halloween Heist.
The heist is considered imperative for the detectives as it decides who the Ultimate Detective/Genius shall be for the following year. Needless to say, the Halloween Heist episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine are a peaking factor of each series.
Moreover, with Brooklyn Nine-Nine having dropped its season 7 trailer on Twitter recently, we can’t but stop thinking who is likely to be this season’s potential winner.
- Jake as the potential winner
- Captain Holt’s as runner up
- Hitchcock and Scully, the underdogs
According to you, who do you think shall win this season’s Halloween heist? More importantly, will we have a new champion or is there a chance it will be a former champion?
Let’s have a look at each character and their probability of winning this year’s Halloween heist.
The brilliant and extremely talented detective Jake Peralta is our season’s top contender as the Halloween heist winner. Notwithstanding, the very iota of hosting a Halloween Heist in the 99th Precinct was his brainchild.
Not only this, but Jake also outsmarts his boss, Captain Holt to win the Precinct’s first-ever Halloween heist. Going by the stats and the stature of Jake’s personality, it is very likely that he could emerge as the potential winner for season 7 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Halloween heist.
The only person who is as enthusiastic and keen about winning the Halloween heist is Jake’s highly competitive-at-work turned wife Amy Santiago. From the start, we’ve seen the two share a cut-throat competition on professional grounds. And whenever, the heist is announced, the two lovebirds forget that they are married to each other and go to any extent to win the heist.
Yet again, chances are that if Jake is not winning this year’s heist, it will be because his wife might. And there is the slightest possibility that they might be planning for the heist together only to relinquish Captain Holt.
Each heist is not just about winning the competition but also about putting the best foot forward. Talking about that, who’s better and tougher competition than Captain Holt himself? If it weren’t for Captain Holt, the spice of the Halloween heist would have dropped to half. This man certainly knows how to up-the-ante and give the other members of his squad a run for their money.
Speaking of which, it will be very interesting to watch Captain Holt win this year’s heist. Watching Jake’s expressions lose against Captain Holt will be fun to watch even for the Brooklyn Nine-Nine fans.
In season 6 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Terry Jeffords turned out to be the unexpected winner of that year’s heist when he cleverly outsmarted the entire squad with his proficient planning.
Well, of course, knowing that the squad undermined his ability at winning the Halloween heist, Terry takes it to his heart to prove the entire squad wrong and succeeds. Probability lies in the factor that he might take the entire squad by surprise by winning the Halloween heist again in Season 7 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
Hitchcock and Scully
It is the viewer’s demand to see Hitchcock and Scully win the heist at least once. Honestly, it would be a treat for the viewers to see them win the heist and rub it on the faces of the squad. Imagine if they reveal in Season 7 that they had been planning for this heist even before it was announced and it was them who planted the idea of the heist in Jake’s mind.
Then in the following years, they had been picking the winners by going up to them and talking about the heist. All of this while pretending to look more and more useless so that the squad would look down upon them and consider the least of the competition.
So they wait until 5-6 heists to act out their plan and checkmate everybody in a very cunning way. Needless to say, the entire squad is stunned at being manipulated by the two men who they downplayed all this while and come to a common consensus of calling off the heist in the seasons to follow.
Rosa is a daring woman and the only one as of now who hasn’t won the title solely by herself. Although, Diaz has helped Amy and Captain Holt win the heist. However, her interest in winning the heist is negligible. But seeing her interest grow stronger in season 7, she might hatch the entire heist all by herself.
In any case, we will shortly come to know who wins this year’s Halloween heist. Season 7 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine premieres on 6th February on NBC.
