A long-time fan of Brooklyn Nine Nine would be very well aware of what the highly anticipated episode of every season is. The 99th Precinct’s annual Halloween Heist has become a fan-favourite.
Every year the cops of the Precinct compete with each other Ocean’s Eleven-style to con each other, engage in trickery, role-playing and often deceit to smuggle a win for some elaborate trophy from under each other’s noses.

Major Spoilers Ahead!
Marvel Style Halloween Heist
We know that once the Halloween heist starts, it really just stars and once it gets going it really can get going. This time the gang decided to keep none other than the Infinity Gauntlet as the quest for everyone who wishes to compete in the Precinct to win.
But there is a slight problem with the plan. The Precinct doesn’t have the budget to obtain an Infinity Gauntlet. Instead Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) has to go to a Russian Ebay site for a cheap knock off and what he ends up with is definitely a cheap version called “Infinity Gobbler”. The cheap knockoff is powered by just three Infinitude Stones.
According to Peralta, the Infinitude Gauntlet got it’s big moment when “Thabu” used it in the movie “Avenga Boys” (Oh Jake how we love you!). The gems of course get new functions and the heist winner would represent it: Amazing. Human. Genius. (Genius Indeed!)
Amazing Human Genius
Now, as to why a Halloween Heist takes place on Easter, many of you may be wondering. The answer is: Rosa Diaz (Staphanie Beatriz). A mastermind, lethal, quick, savvy player who thought months in advance on how to win the Heist and eventually does emerge as the winner this year. You could say she is an Amazing Human Genius.

Turns out, Rosa’s plan was to make Cheddar (Chief Holt’s Pet Dog) her pawn to start things off. She knew Cheddar would make an appearance on the heist. She then made the gems smell like ham and made Cheddar develop a taste for ham. Which led to Cheddar swallowing the gemstones. Rosa obviously used the same tactic on Scully (Joel McKinnon Miller) and pushed the heist to Easter so she could get rid of Scully as her partner.
She got Terry to help her break free from the filing-cabinet partner, eavesdropped on Jake’s fake therapy sessions to figure out the fake bunny costume plan. And with that all stand-up for our three time Halloween heist winner Rosa Diaz aka Amazing Human/Genius. Honestly, with that amount of planning and thinking no one but Rosa deserved to win.
And if you haven’t watched the entire episode yet, I don’t know what you’re waiting for.
After Seven Seasons of this gang bringing us the best of best, comedy gold, sass and some truly unforgettable characters, our only wish to witness them chase this trophy season after season.
