The central-to-the-show Breaking Bad character Jesse Bruce Pinkman is played by Aaron Paul.
He is a meth-head and a crystal-meth-dealer in the show. He joins hands with his former high school chemistry teacher, Walter White in a mission to cook and sell meth.
However, by the end of Breaking Bad, Jesse Pinkman turns to become a man of morals. But we can’t let go of the fact that he did many horrendous things in his journey in the ‘business of making money’. Some of his mistakes were pardonable. Others were nothing short of warranting retribution.
HIGHLIGHTS: Jesse Pinkman’s Unpardonable Crimes
- Selling drugs to recovering addicts
- Jesse’s cold-blooded murder of Gale
- Dissolving bodies with acid
During the show’s runtime, Jesse has retained his charisma and was perhaps the most captivating character the show had. So much so that he even bagged his own spin-off movie, El Camino, after the series finished. Over the course of Breaking Bad, here are the top five ‘bad bad’ things that Jesse Pinkman did.
Selling drugs to recovering addicts
Jesse did certain deplorable things in the bid to up his business. A prime example was when Jesse sought a recovering addict’s meeting. When the audiences caught the first glimpse of Jesse sitting in the circle, it appeared as though he was himself reaching out for some help.
This notion quickly transverses, as Jesse reveals the real reason for his being there. The reason is to sell drugs to some very prone and vulnerable addicts.
Preying on the desires of recovering addicts and hideously setting them back on to the same path of earthly perdition is pathetic. Certainly, tops the list of the bad things Jesse Pinkman has done.
Just few episodes into the season, we come to realize that Jesse Pinkman is a man with no moral compass. But one thing the fans were rest-assured of was that for Jesse, murdering people was certainly off-the-table.
Fans will never forget that Gale was murdered and shot by Jesse in the season three finale of Breaking Bad.
Betraying his own Parents
Not once but umpteen times has Jesse Pinkman betrayed his parents when they kicked him out of their apartment. But he didn’t leave them with much of a choice after his truth surfaced as a meth cook and dealer. He repeatedly turned his back on family and let them down by returning to his old ways and means of life.
Getting rid of bodies by dissolving them
After Walter White, Pinkman’s partner-in-crime killed his first victim, the two were left with a bit of a problem: where to dump the body. Walter, being a genius chemist, came up with an idea to use a specific chemical compound to dissolve the body in a bathtub.
Jesse Pinkman did not pick on his colleague’s specific instructions correctly, which led to drawing a straight hole through the first-floor bathtub down to the ground floor of his house. What was left was a bloody mess of semi-dissolved remains of flesh and bones that the two of them had to clean up.
Selling a deadlier drug than meth
As if selling meth wasn’t the end of the road for Jesse Pinkman, all hell breaks loose when he decided to sell an even stronger, deadlier and addictive form of meth ‘Blue Sky’ to his customers.
Well, Pinkman certainly knows how to take things to a whole new level of evil. Walt’s and Jesse’s ‘Blue Sky’ crusade left a multitude of bodies in their wake.
