Apple has released the teaser of ‘The Morning Show’, starring Jennifer Aniston, Steve Carell, and Reese Witherspoon.
Apple has released the first look at ‘The Morning Show’ which is an American comedy-drama web television series. The tech giant has released a teaser that doesn’t reveal any actual scenes.
‘The Morning Show’ is a team of journalists at a CNN-like organization, as they fight trends that affect the coverage of major political and cultural events.
The teaser begins with the camera panning down a dark hallway behind the scenes at the show, with Aniston’s voice saying, “Good morning. I am bringing you some sad and upsetting news.” But then it cuts to slow pans of a closet filled with suits, a vanity in a dressing room.
The teaser ends up on the set of the fictional show-within-the-show, with Reese Witherspoon saying that people “want to trust that the person telling them the truth about the world is an honest person.”
Apple ordered two seasons of the show, with 10 episodes per season streaming exclusively on Apple TV Plus. Although this is just a teaser of the drama, expect to see more footage relatively soon.
The show stars Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Steve Carell, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Billy Crudup, Néstor Carbonell, and Mark Duplass are set to premiere in the fall of 2019.
