2020 has just begun and we are to be murdered by Eminem’s music. The Detroit rapper who is better known as Slim Shady kick-started the year with a treat to fans by dropping a new album on Twitter.

Titled, Music To Be Murdered By, the album is being considered as the rappers comeback after putting out not-so-happening albums in 2017 and 2018. Many news and media houses speculated the impending album later this year. The album coming out so soon took both media and fans by surprise.
The album cover draws its inspiration from Alfred Hitchcock’s album by the same name. The album has 20 tracks and one of them is named Alfred a 30-second clip of the veteran filmmaker speaking.
Tracks and Features
Some of the songs in the album are titled ‘In Too Deep’, ‘Godzilla’, ‘Darkness‘ and ‘Leaving Heaven’. The album came with a music video for track Darkness, making it the lead song.
It also features collaborations with multiple artistes like Anderson .Paak, Juice WRLD, KXNG Crooked, Ed Sheeran, Skylar Grey, Royce Da 5’9″, Black Thought, Q-Tip, Denaun, White Gold, Young M.A, Joell Ortiz, Don Toliver.
Eminem had released his 2018 album Kamikaze, where the album came out of nowhere and took the listeners by the storm. The album had multiple references to US President Donald Trump.
Similarly, Music Be Murdered By has received some backlash as one of the songs titled, ‘Unaccommodating’ has references to the bombing of Ariana Grande’s Manchester concert.
Eminem raps, “But I’m contemplating yelling ‘Bombs away’ on the game like I’m outside of an Ariana Grande concert waiting.”
Dubbed as the God of Rap, Eminem has won 15 Grammys to date. His 2015 Album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, bagged Grammy for the prize for Best Rap Album in 2015 and Best Rap/Song Collaboration (The Monster, featuring Rihanna).
